May be u both have been engaging in immoral acts like premarital sex and since baptism makes one a new being in Christ she decided to end the relationship. I think she is right and I support her.

Why u dey lie? Two of you are unbelievers. You said you guys have dated for 6years, you changed your words and said again that for 5years, you have dated. It's just now she wants to get baptised, so what restrained you guys? Why was she cautious?
It's either, someone in that church promised her marriage, since you have delayed her for 5yrs. Or she has indeed found Christ.
Femi my friend, lost two girls to the Holy Spirit. When the third one announced, she had repenged and was leaving, he quickly repented and followed her, they are married today. So maybe you shd quickly repent and follow her.

I dont know whether it's a true repentance, but I know that one of the first things a repented soul does is to get rid of all false emotional attachments. Basically, all emotional attachments involving sex or lust is false, except plain friendship. This is different from courtship (wherein there should be no sex too). You cannot grow spiritually when there is a clog. Devil will definitely use it as ur weakness. To follow Christ truly is not easy, but it's worthwhile.
