luckily for Victor it was ruled offside so even if he scored the goal it won't have counted

I was in Aba when it underwent renovation but can it withstand rain?

Will the color remain the same after rain?

Mind you, Lekan Salami stadium looks like this before the rain.

In all honesty lets be sincere Uyo stadia is still better than that

Why can't we have at least one standard stadium like the one in south africa league in Nigeria

Just imagine the potato farm makinde built with billions of naira.... haba this things are not too much to ask for even Covenant University stadia built with 500M naira is better than this Teslim stadia....it was like this against lesotho then it didn't rain even the tomatoes farm in benin look same when the super eagles played leone stars

For those living in Lagos, we know the situation today in Lagos. Flood everywhere.

The epl, south africa leagues that u watch does it get this bad when it rains

Even the Uyo stadia remember it rained in one of our matches there the stadia wasn't that bad lile this one

The stadia in asaba, lagos, oyo and edo is not befitting for super eagles matches

That was how Galadima took nigeria vs Angola match to Kano and the players keep complaining of the hot weather we manage to draw that match...and we didnt make it for the 2006 world cup playing in abuja would have savor a win for us that day

The linesmen today just dey carry flag for an offside that doesn't exist for both teams today.

Nonsense.

I heard Abuja pitch is now good. I think it's better there. Uyo stadium pitch is not different from Lekan Stadium pitch.

Who will fund them; hotel accommodations and others should they play in abuja? Some of this state governors do this things thats why they take this match to this states but I blame the nff for not devising means to make money from ticket sales and tv rights to offset this bills

In other news...

Cameroon manages to overcome Malawi 2-0. This make life incredibly hard for Ivory Coast as their match this Monday against Cameroon is a must win (same can be said for Cameroon). The elephants lost a chance at an easy 3 points against Mozambique.

Super Eagles will play anywhere but never in the East...smh
When was the last time a a Nigerian national team hosted a game in any s/eastern state?
And before you come here to say no facility,
Remember this same national teams have gone to much worse stadiums like Asaba & Calabar stadiums...
Is Enugu National stadium not far better than these two i mentioned?

I heard Zik stadium is now astro-turf. Synthetic pitches are not good for high level games.

Philosopher1979:
I hope rohr does not think onuachu is a good alternative to osimhen as that is a dumb idea with our style of play.
Another dumb idea is that there is no alternative to ndidi and iwobi.
He is not too bright a man. His intelligence is limited to a few basic things.
He does not know
How to use ejuke dribbling and creativity
Miss speed mobility and aggression
etc.
Nff should put a tactician beside him.
Any team that marks out iwobi will expose rohr limitations as a coach
this post is very funny because rohr doesn’t rate onuachu, at a point he dropped him from the SE but Nigerians started wailing that how can you drop a 30-goal striker. Humans can never be satisfied
