Me no get confidence in the guy too, but this is not quite fair. Reus was really close.
Edit: on watching that again, i can't help but agree with your point. I come dey wonder. What was he doing with his hands that low. kind of amateurish. cheesy. Perhaps another basket in the making.

Wow shocked

He is simply analyzing Nwakali's skill set. Describing a players style of play is different from saying be is the best thing out there. Why are people so disturbed when his name comes up? Did anybody said he should be invited right away ? No. But if continue to get game time and gets in form he gets the red carpet because the boy is simply too gifted!

I just Dey make example oo

Ojo and lookman doesn’t deserve to be in the eagles for now

Agreed without reservation.

However, when people who have not done anything of substance in thier careers. Such as Bazee and Nwakali then you have lowered the bar. And that gives players like lookman and Ojo justification to be considered.

You are essentially saying that Nwakali's career is dead and buried, is that right??

No thats not RIGHT.

The matter concerning Nwakali football mediocrity over the past five years is established and proven and therefore dead and buried.

Nobody can call time on anybody future career only God can do that.

Football is unpredictable, as long as he can kick a ball the possibility exists that Nwakali could become a star performer in La Liga. Although this is near impossible and highly unlikely. But there is a very very small possibility.

Ossama Ashley was released by league one AFC Wimbledon this season and within a week he has signed a contract with EPL West Ham. Nobody could have predicted that move.

So in football anything can happen no matter how unlikely.

However in the HERE and NOW Nwakali is poor and has been for the past five years.

Let me get one thing very clear here. Are you perchance saying that he is mediocre ( I hope you know what is the definition of mediocre) or that he failed to perform in the previous seasons ? Because when you said he is mediocre it means you have proof of matches where he failed to show his quality and some flimsy statistics won't cut it. Nwakali may have floundered at some point but mediocre is not the right adjective to describe him.

Additionally, there is nothing like " highly unlikely" or "near impossible" because there is no premises for such words. He has been playing and he can only get better.

Finally, KOMEKN your chances of ever becoming a successful man in this world is near impossible or highly unlikely.

That is understandable but De Gea's was worse because he stood still without making any effort to dive. That said, Maduka really needs to improve.

The Maduka, I watched, was very calm, made a few good saves and claimed crosses with ease.

For a 20 year old, he is in a very good position and can only get better with experience.

Be calming down Oga.... I actually wanted to point out and commend our very own youngsters(Ndidi, Samuel and Victor specifically) for staying disciplined so far at least. BTW, I'm not in anyway mocking those English.

Now,to your question, what has barca history, Adama traore got to do with this thread ?

About Maduka Okoye, Tbaba1234 is right. Most of you didn't see the game. I saw the game from the second half when Okoye entered and he made pretty good saves before he even conceeded the first goal.

None of the goals were his fault. Okoye was decent. The only thing is he truly has a battle for that top spot with Van Leer who kept a clean sheet in the first half.

Okoye is 20 and will only get better with time. Kid did very okay today on the overall.

Meanwhile, Okoye was not the only Nigerian in action in that game. We had Nnamdi Pharell Collins for Dortmund (eligible for both Germany and Nigeria). A 16 yrs old CB standing at about 1.91m in height. That's huge.

We also had Emmanuel Emegha who scored Sparta Rotterdam's goal. A very nice goal if you ask me. He played a one two combo with a teammate after carrying it for a bit and finished nicely.
Remember Emegha (seen below with Ball after scoring) is still only 17.

I think you really have a score to settle with Maduka Okoye. I can't see anything he did wrong in that goal. The scorer waded through a sea of legs to put that through and it can beat any goalkeeper in the world.

With Jaime Rodriguez now joining Everton, I hope Iwobi won't be impacted negatively o. I honestly think Ancelotti would favor Jaime because 1) he signed him 2) they have a history together, from Real Madrid to Bayern.
We shall see how it goes.
