Which kind rubbish be this. Paul onuachu has been invited to the team to replace Simon Moses. Why not olise? Na wa o

1. Olise's pappers or passport is not yet ready
2. In view of that, he should have called up Peter Olayinka as we need wingers to replace another winger. We have only 2 wingers in the team
with the replacement of Simon with Onuachu.
3. Rohr cannot figure out how to use Onuachu for now and we cannot change our formation when we have 2 matches we must win.
That can happen later
4. A person or group of persons within Nff is forcing Onuachu on Rohr.
5. If Onuachu plays our attack will simply be blunt. Sadiq Umar's creativity and mobility suits our pattern of play

Top 5 goals of the week in the NPFL. Too bad these matches were not televised. So much quality

Beautiful goals.

Abia Warriors have actually been playing good football all season.

And i think the passing game from some of the teams has improved most lately.

Meanwhile Eyimba holding it out against Orlando Pirates.

1:1 with 85mins played.

Eyimba could have easily been ahead. But all the same a good game so far, considering it is an away fixture.

My guy he is still an English rejects that's why people here are anxious and hoping that England doesn't notice him yet until we cap him. Even Ameobi that played in 2014 wc was an English Reject. Anyway, we just need to build our academy and ensure that we get 1st choice Nigerias like ndidi, zaidu, iheanacho, chukwueze

Imaging calling someone who agreed to play for Nigeria english rejects, that's very insensitive and we should do away with such words.

I wonder what you mean by first choice Nigerians. No Nigerian is more Nigerian than another. Imagine moving abroad and in 20 years time your son is denied the right to play for his fatherland not because he's not good enough but because he's not Nigerian enough or he's not a first class Nigerian.

This is the thread of the super eagles of Nigeria and every talent Nigerian in every corner of the world is welcome.

I no like this Onuachu at all. I hope he changes my mind. SE pattern at the moment doesn't rhyme with his style at all. All I see in him is a cross-and-nod striker bereft of ball control, speed, physicality, passing vision, or dribbling which are invaluable qualities for a team like ours at the moment set up to counter attack and capitalize on opponents' mistakes. Kalu, Chuks and co are all inverted wingers. We have no proper crossers to give Onuachu what he needs. That's why he keeps looking lost each time he gets on the pitch for the GWG.

The only solution is to play him in a front two alongside a good creative supporting striker.....
All of you talking pattern and style with Onuachu should just go and sit down. Using only three matches where half the team played dust to keep on propagating a useless stereotype. If he lacked all those things you mentioned then he should not have 23 goals. Dude is our most consistent striker ATM. He deserves an invite far ahead of Sadiq.

Watching our Nplf representative in Caf matches as always been an eyesore for me. Last time I would invest money on data to stream rubbish match again. Enyimba has no identifiable pattern...why play kick n rush football in this modern era....

NPFL teams need to work on this time wasting issue.
Enyinmba ended up losing a game they could have at least drawn. Their second half display was poor.

Of course, he did. When he was young.
If he did it in the Serie A. Is it the premier league where defenders deflect outside 18yrd shots quite often into their own goals that he won't repeat such? wink

Latest news is that all EPL, Ligue 1, Serie A, Bundesliga, and La Liga Naija players will be withheld by their clubs.

Iwobi, Chukwueze, Osimhen, Iheanacho, etc to miss out on Benin and Lesotho games.

We might have to resort to NPFL players for our last two AFCONQ against Benin and Lesotho.

I am saying it for the tenth time, Austin Oladapo is by far the best NPFL player.
Do you know how many super goals he has scored in Continental matches for Enyimba since last season?

My friend any player that only picked Nigeria because he wasn't called up to a nation senior team after playing for all their youth level is a "REJECT" You and I know it abeg no dey deceive yourself. But just because you were a country one time reject doesn't mean that they won't regret losing you or you won't have a successful career. Anyway, when I mean first choice Nigerians, I'm referring to players that were born, raised and picked Nigeria as their first choice. We should be focusing on grassroots, football academy, NPL so that in few years, we would be producing talents at an astronomical level

This is just stupid. I can't find the rationale. How many Covid cases to we had in Africa as a whole that would mandate this restriction?
