Because that's what he brings to the table not for his great attacking abilities. The boy has been playing for us since Oliseh time yet he is still hasn't wowed us.
I remember pre WC how lamentations abounded here because he was going to miss the tourney.

No wonder the “us” don’t see anything good in Moses.

He is better than all in his wing.

Those players finding it hard in the same Ligue 1 is now better than the one doing better in the same league. What an irony!

Mr man, you have never made any objective points devoid of prejudice.

I don’t take you seriously.

Besides, Chuks is better though they don’t play the same wing.

There are exceptions to every rule but they are never the rule. Big players can flop in one league and shine in another. Many factors contribute to that. If Onyekuru got the same opportunities Simon had with Super Eagles nobody would still be talking about Simon.

Moses has 33 appearances with Eagles and scored 5 goals.

Kalu has 13 appearances and scored 2 goals.

Egbon , bami joko !

I didn't want to respond because he seem bias.

Only Ejuke, not to talk of Oyenkuru that Rohr doesn't fancy, dwarfs Simon hands down.

Dammn we are loaded at the flanks sha.

Imagine what a direct creative midfielder would bring to that team? Perhaos now we should turn to Nwankali. Perhaps.

Which Ejuke or Onyekuru dwarfs Simon? cheesy

Simon is better than these aforementioned players. Na fact be dat nothing like bias.

So we should throw away the assists abi?

Onyekuru is a fine player but Moses is currently better than him as I type. EOD

Simon vs Kalu et al...

Now, we need to consider what each of our wingers bring to the table before we can decide who is best and who is worst among them.

I dare say Simon is the one with the different attributes among them all. He is the the proper winger while the orders are wide forward. Simon is that type that will give you width and defensive assurance while still contributing at the attacking front. His recent goals and assists addition is really commendable. One of his attributes I admire also is crossing. He is comfortable on either wing and can use both legs.

But if you want an inverted wide forwards with the sole duty of cutting inside, then Onyekuru ,Kalu and chuks are your choices.

However, Simon too is not bad as an inverted forward but his main strength is his wing play. And whoever said he can't dribble should go and watch his YouTube clip. Why I think his dribbling is unnoticeable is that he is more direct, not the showboating type like Ejuke.

To be honest, we have decent wingers ..it is just that their attributes are different. I'm comfortable with any of them.

Wetin dey pain me right now is that Ogbomoso-made Sam Allardyce we parade as coach. I'm totally tired of him.

Agreed. Having him in the middle is not also bad.

We know Simon can dribble from here to Timbuktu , however , there is no end product. Simon is not an asset to Super Eagles. When Onyekuru was tearing Belgian league up Rohr ignored him and kept inviting Simon to play defense...abeg , make we shun this talk because I have noticed we have bad memories around here.

Same Belgium league Simon won as a teenager Simon Moses has more goals and assists than any active winger not named Ahmed Musa for the national team.

And yet Milan had one of the youngest squad from the top 5 leaques this season grin

2-4 out of 22 or so players is not team full of old men.

Compare it to Milan team of 11/12 and see the difference.

Villarreal have no right to be winning 1:0 in this match, such a poorly coached side

I am talking about his time with Super Eagles. What good is club football if you can't replicate that form with Super Eagles, which is what we really care about. If you can't reflect your so called club form in the national team then you must pave way for a player who can give us what we want.

Onyekuru was ignored by Rohr until he was forced to invite him due to injury to Samuel Kalu and with just one start he wowed everyone and was the most threatening and dangerous player during our last meeting.

And no he is not better than anyone of these player as a WINGER...all puff and no pound. The boy was invited as an attacker not a support for defenders and he has not shone, period. Onyekuru , Kalu and Chukwu are all players that could create chances and also score, Simon , not so much. If you want a defender then invite one and stop converting players into different positions.

If you want to talk about club football then Musa should not be there.

Simon Moses has almost the same amount of open play goals as Victor Moses. He has more assists than any current player on the team. This is not a who looks cute contest. Let us judge based on facts and not who we like best.

Villarreal using fear to play Man U and playing badly

If they play their real game they might win this

Man U cannot win any big team in a champions league /Europa league finals

Playing like amateurs

How's Villarreal a poor team?
A team in a UEFA Europa league final is not poor. You may say Manchester United is a bigger club but this is a final bro

Forget your love for chuks,Villarreal have been poor in this game

Sevilla would have beaten Man U like ram

If it where to be Hoodlum Chelsea would have killed this game against Villarreal in the first half

Mind you I am supporting Villarreal but I am tipping Man U to win
