Maddison starting ahead of Kelz despite being shitty recently has to be studied in Havard. Rodgers does like kelz, the earlier he realize this, the better for his career.

Nwakali is playing on the right side of a midfield three and doing okay.

I notice though that in fast developing transitions he has shown the tactical awareness to take up dangerous positions in spaces just between the opposition's midfield and defence where any pass that gets to him can lead to a goal or assist but this Huesca team is unfortunately not wired that way and they just rush everything without fully assessing options.

I have already counted two occasions where he could easily have been the late unmarked runner into or around the edge of the box but the pass never came, instead the team mates have rather shot from ridiculous angles.

Whatever he manages to achieve here will be in spite to this major handicap.

On a different note Odey scores a second to make it Randers 3 Nordsjaelland 1. Well done Stephen.

Players forgetting about the game does not end misconceptions about football rules. Debate like this clarifies understanding and make people not repeat the same mistakes due to their misunderstandings.

I think Iheanacho knows this but which team can meet his wages and asking price to leave Leicester City. Keep in mind Iheanacho signed a contract extension this year.

There is a difference with we die here mode and defeating the points. It is not about winning the argument but clarifying the point. I think I prefer comprehensively exhausting a point so people will understand for next time sake. It is not about winning the argument.

It is about footballing rules. This particular argument. Tomorrow, a Nigerian team might be in a similar scenario and people will have better understanding about it.

All the continued defending the indefensible has forced me to comment on this thing again even though I had said I won't bother. cheesy

But please can you show the angle you have watched where Walker got to the ball before Armstrong?

If there isn't one that would mean that Armstrong was through on goal until Walkers interference which left him on the floor in a heap. The same interference which did not include Walker touching or having control of the ball.

Na wa sha...I blame VAR.

I feel deep down Iheanacho does not believe he has what it takes to be the main man at a club where his current wages can be met.

Unfortunately, my take was from the live game. Before the referee went to review the incident on the screen, the studio clearly showed the incident from the front angle and Walker did not foul him. Read Gallagher's take on it and see that the front angle was what convinced John Moss

Former Premier League referee Dermot Gallagher agreed: “I think Jon Moss has got a different angle to what we’ve seen in the replays there. He has seen it straight down the barrel, he’s looking through it, he thinks Kyle Walker has pulled him down. He thinks he’s tripped him, he can’t see the ball.

When the VAR looks at this angle (from front on) you see it is a totally different incident. It is almost as if Armstrong is reaching for the ball and he actually goes into the back of Kyle Walker’s leg himself.

I think what’s happened is VAR has recommended a review, which is really good (and) that is what it is there for, Jon Moss has been strong because he’s said ‘yeah that’s not how I see it, this looks totally different’ he’s gone back, it’s not a penalty and therefore the red card is rescinded and we’ve restarted with a drop ball. Absolutely correct.
