Apparently majority here are watching on LiveScore. Awaziem plays as RCB not RB for God's sake!

I have always been struck by the difference between club and national team football. Appears national team football is more difficult or rather not as easy as club football

Yes o
I realized that since. I don't jubilate over any new player anymore. Make he play for us first make we see am. The much talked about Eze and Olise might not live up to some people's expectations that's if the eventually represent us.

Don't be deceived by the 2 goals lead, this team still lacks cohesion and creativity. Though a lil sharper than the other day, I am still disappointed. Musa as number 10 has the vision but la is passing accuracy.
if CAR comes out to play, dem go chop am.
These guys are parking the bus, we have to be patient with our passing, and use long balls when the opponent is deep

Watched the highlights of the first half and I must say Nigeria were rampant in that half.

Not as bad a game as I thought. So I'm backing them in the return leg tomorrow.

BOOM!

Positives of that half

Balogun's drive
Awaziem forward passes and tactical awareness
Aribo's all round play
Direct play
Osimhen's leadership

Negatives

Ekong's lack of composure
Musa off the boil
Short passing not consistent enough. Team tends to resort to long passes after a while.
Iheanacho could be better.
Deep defensive line.
No pace on the left wing.
Not enough players in CAR box.

Can we all see how the pitch has changed our game. Nice half

It didn't change anything. Osimhen and Awoniyi should not be missing the chances they did. We are still slow in building up and the match is still boring outside the goals.

We are definitely missing Iwobi creativity though. Dude seems irreplaceable at the moment. Rohr must give chance to other AMs.

I was about to say this before I saw this comment. The TB stadium doesn't favour us. Why are the crosses and passes today better than the previous game, even with almost the same players?
Still believe we need a better coach tho.

The crosses and the passes were not better today, aside from the passes for the two goals we have misplaced a lot of passes similar to the we did three days ago

How please?

The foul that led to the goal wasn't a foul and he is throwing out yellow cards knowing he won't give a second. I only saw one yellow card that will be given in African footy.

LMFAO..... yet Rohr is called clueless by many of you. Who's gonna pull out for Onuachu to nod? How many crosses were recorded in the first half?

The two goals we scored were initiated by crosses though. Awoniyi would also be a good sub.

I would want Osimhen removed. Guy has played like 10 games in the last three weeks. He needs rest for Roma games and so on. From this point, this game is almost dead rubber. Use this opportunity to test new legs.

Don't be carried away guys
Rohr is still not it

There is nothing special about the line up
The players that lost in lagos would have still played same way and even better

This better pitch is doing the magic here

May God judge those folks that made the super players in TB stadia lagos....

CAR's strength are their central defenders and keeper they win crosses easily even against Osimhen, the way we could get them is smart interchange of passes

These are the type of games Onuachu excels in at Genk. His aerial prowess and excellent finishing could be useful in this game.

Musa needs to be subbed off. The left wing with Collins is too weak in attack. Bring in Ejuke and put him on that wing, Bassey to support.

The game plan is to pass the ball as quickly as possible and create space for the players.

That was why Ejuke was rightly dropped.

He seems to be holding unto the ball too much. This game is not for him except we are satisfied with the scores then we can bring him to entertain us.

Una think say Nigeria na world class squad abi? If you dey wait to see mancity level playing style before you appreciate, then you're an idiot.

Anybody that watched this game and want to be honest, at our level, the only problem we had were heavy touches as certain times.

Still waiting for more goals. I predicted 6.

I agree that the ref has been unfavorable to CAR and very bias towards Nigeria.

But the tackle on Balogun, although not a yellow card, was dangerous play.

Two footed challenge with studs of boot showing and Balogun had to jump out of the tackle. But since the player got the ball and little of the man, it was no yellow card.
