CAR was less chaotic today and there you go..

We should actually be seeing off games but alas. Rohr's subs today was also brilliant.
The more Ejuke plays, the better he gets.
Iheanacho was decent.
Simon should only be a sub

There is nothing brillant about Rohr abeg cry

Calm down, I just dey make point smiley

That was a very expensive point bro

Please don't forget Rohr is still the problem of this team

NFF should send him for refreshers course since they've refused to sack him or ask him to understudy some coaches we can't go to the world cup like this

Iheanacho and Musa added nothing of notes to the midfield!
Our midfield going forward should be Ndidi, Frank and Iwobi. Chuz, Ejuke and Oshimen in attack.

Ighalo was far better for the SE than Osimhen. Most of the goals Ighalo netted for us were from half or non-existent chances. Apart from that one half-chance Odion missed against Argentina, I defy anyone to show me any other serious blunder he made. Osimhen on the other hand......make I no talk sha before them call me hater. But he needs to sit up ASAP. SE is not a team where a striker will wait to be fed 6 good chances before scoring one.

PS: This is not a call for Ighalo to be called up. His time has passed. I'm just putting matters into perspective.
Yen yen yen. Ighalo at what age? Osimhen is a young player still learning his rope. At Osimhen's age, who knew Ighalo? There are only few complete strikers out there. Trust me when he starts putting in all his chances, he is gonna be scary but for now we can only demand more from him, that doesn't mean we should condemn him or compare him to a prime Ighalo when he just started his professional career and making waves in Europe. What does that guy mean by Osimhen is hyped. Is Osimhen a bad player?

Oshimen shooting accuracy is worrying. Iheanacho, Simon, Musa and Aribo had no single shot on target. Absurd!

Have you noticed the similarities between Sane and Ejuke? undecided

But i saw that drive... Is Aribo scared to drive forward with the ball?

Musa... grin
Simon... That one has passed his prime!

Didn't watch the game live just checked out the highlights. Have to rewatch that Ejuke sequence but from my first observation it seems he was trying to go solo.. I agree he needs to stop the unnecessary dribbles that lead to no where and use his ability to open up space for other attackers. He can become an assist master if he concentrates on that aspect of his game. Shaku Shakuism should be ditched totally.

Good result but personally we should be beating CAR without breaking a sweat really.

Happy that Balogun redeemed himself.

As for Rohr let's just get through this round of qualifiers before I give my verdict on the man. Spoiler alert it won't be pleasant.

Hope between the NFF and Lagos state government they will try not to sabotage the team next match day and play on a decent pitch. Even if it is to carry it to Onikan they should sha make sure the pitch is decent.

andrewbaba44:

Osimhen was not offside ,he was only offside at the later part of when ejuke was holding the ball ,reason why he needs to release the ball quick and stop the unnecessary dribbles

Forgiveness did nothing ,what’s the need of this screenshot that means nothing ?

Can’t someone air out his own opinion again ?

Maybe once the opinion is against your favorite player he is trying to bring down the player

Rest bro

Let me show you this one as i believe his decision not to mention Ejuke's name as the player that created that scoring opportunity is somehow a mistake.

Please first read my response to his post, then you can make out my point.

At 22 Ighalo was already a legend in Granada and was playing in Laliga.

I watched the match on NTA. The camera was poor and I could barely see. Though I watched the replay but I didn’t see the one who passed the ball. In fact, it was not part of the point.

What is your point? grin

As far as i am concerned, Nigeria still haven't gotten a good 9 in the form of igahlo. It won't be bad testing that sadiq of a guy. We need competitions in attack, good ones.

See, guys.... nothing spectacular about these eagles.

One man singlehandedly won this match for us....that's Leon balogun (scored d first goal and created opportunity for d second goal wen from one of his forward runs, he won the throw-in that led to d second goal)

He brought in passion...passion naturally enacted by a white or mixed race person to win at all cost or right his wrongs by all means....same passion that immediately leaves/eludes a young black African immediately he see a few dollars to pocket.

Watch d match again...apart from osimhen and ejuke no other player had same passion to cut a nerve to excel....they were all idiots as usual.

Rohr might no really be our major problem....the players are.

They lack d zeal to excel..they lack impetus... motivation....and ultimately, PASSION.

watch these players play for their European clubs and compare to how they play for their country....forget about formation adopted by d coach...even a Guardiola cannot make much impact on these spineless chickens...

Something is missing.

The team needs a psychologist...when last did our dear eagles av a seasoned psychologist to work with them?...

Then we need a thoroughbred no nonsense captain(someone in d mould of Rigobert song)

Look at Iheanacho critically....compare him to his early days...

Look at onyeka and aribo and compare wat they play in d national team to wat they play in their clubs.

Look at Simon Moses and watch how he plays in d french league...u won't be far from d truth if u say a spell has been cast on him immediately he dorns d green white green.

Inasmuch as I would blame the coach to an extent...I will put more of the blame on d players...they lack the zeal to perform wen they dorn d national colours.

TO BE CONTINUED......

Osimhen has 7 goals and 6 assists in 13 matches for Nigeria yet we are still looking for a 9?

His end products are still poor...
End product of Moses Simon better? At times you need dribbers to stress defenders and create space for strikers

8 in 14 but you're right people are funny comparing a young Osimhen to Ighalo who it took years to get to his prime.

We do not have to bring another player down to make our point sha o.
Everyone put in their fair share today and i will only advocate for improvement.
If we really want to see our abilities and weaknesses, we need to meet with a top team for proper assessment.
