Which kind of coach will instruct his players to play through tight spaces.
Can you cite any publication quoting him on this.

Watch the game and see how Eguavoen instructed them.

If you like keep searching for publication

Nice game.
Someone did say Algeria might not even qualify for the next stage. Using the fact that they actually played a competition before this is shameful

Peter Olayinka is the dude i even wished would start against Egypt.

Why?

Because no winger in S.E is better defensively plus he is also creative.

Why didn't he start?

It is an important game and i think he is a newbie, his teammates will get to understand him with time, team cohesion and chemistry is paramount.

You will always reason along ethnic lines, i will not tell you to stop, it is your life, it is your decision. I refused to reply to kog45 when he asked for my lineup, because he is navigating the same route.

And let me tell you something, Moses Simon is a good player, you can tell from his exploits at Nantes, MOTM performance shouldn't even be far from a player like Simon , but as far as the LW is concerned, he is not the best we have got . There is Ejuke, there is Onyekuru.

The best is what i will always clamour for, irrespective of ethnic affiliations, not minding if i am the only one calling for it.

What makes your chosen player's the best ❓

I don't know if you have not noticed but football has progressed in the last two decades. Dribbling and playing to the gallery with skills and show boating will not get you anywhere. Ejuke is that type of player he may find it hard to go higher unless he changes..

However, end product, football intelligence, work rate, team discipline garnished with technical ability, skill and dribbling WILL get you FAR.

Considering Onyekuru club form it's not been great and or the league he is playing in Greek league rated 20 in Europe.

On the other hand Onyekuru has had some very good multi million £ transfer. From Everton to Monaco to Olympiacos. He must have made millions but his club performance are not good. Although he is laughing all the way to the bank.

Algeria needs to win CIV inorder to qualify for next round. Even a draw won't guarantee them a spot in the second round.

That's very possible.

The game between Ivory Coast and Algeria may even end in a drab draw undecided

3rd loser from group B have to b considered first,

They have opened multiple Twitter Spaces to rant, one is in French, the other one they are ranting in English and swearing that Morocco is the only North African team that can win AFCON, dem no even rate Tunisia.

So sad that it has not occurred to these descendants of Ishmael that none of them will smell that AFCON trophy.

I've watched both in their 2 matches, nothing like country pride, they think AFCON is a small tournament, and they are not giving their best.
Really?

All of a sudden, they both had an epiphany that AFCON is a small tournament?

Do you think they can get a draw?

Its possible with the Senegal we saw the other day. And our group would probably not produce any third place team going through so Malawi has a chance going through even with 3 pts.

Loud it please. It sucks when some peeps here thinks a player that plays primarily as a no 8 for is club is a DM. The fact that he sometimes plays as a DM doesn't make him a pure DM.
Some do it to push the Nwakali's agenda.

Just like i asked mostob and he never answered, "Who was Nwakali called to back up" since he said Onyeka is a back up to Ndidi..

Nwakali may start against Guinea Bissau cos we've already qualified, but no right thinking coach anywhere in the world will pick him over Onyeka..

before the AFCON, we already debated on this but the fact that people like you were already against the lad from the onset will make you turn a blind eyes to what he offers. To your question, Onyeka is capable of playing as a DM and as an 8. In the current SE squad, if Ndidi is out, he will be the undisputed DM to start. This is to tell you he is here to deputise for Ndidi and can also slot in as a CM or B2B in case there is need for it.
Must there be a need for back up before Nwakali is called up? Rohr listed only 3 pure midfielders in the squad so why was it a crime to call up Nwakali when the opportunity showed up?

Not true.

Algeria went out at the group stage in Senegal 92. Interestingly, they were beaten by Ivory Coast, who eventually went on to win the tournament
