You contradict yourself you say it's a lie.

First of all without his accolades in the national U17 where do you think he would be ?

One call up is still a call up , UNJUSTIFIABLE as it was. His second call up in November against Uganda is open to question because he had played just a handful of games and had not really been outstanding YET.

Nonetheless, Osimhen overcame adversity to succeed, he took my advice it seems. Dropped to a lower league and club, learned and develop then rise. I always say be outstanding in your league and club.

He then moved to Lille and the rest is history.

In current times or since he left Wolfsburg, l can agree with you that the SE had little or nothing to do with his progression.

Shut up already!!

Which accolades did a player like Ndidi win with Nigeria national team before moving abroad?
Your hatred for Osimhen and other Nigerian born players is well documented here...They keep dropping you and your opinions in the mud...

I am not comfortable about the idea of resting most of the starters. I hope Eguavoen’s plan is to bring them on later in the game. Our starters need more games to really gel before the knock out stages.
He may not see this game as a very good test for the lads even in a resounding win.
Well, we’ll see i how they can pull a good win.

Not bad resting them bro

Wow not bad. I only wonder why Peter Olayinka is on the bench for Sadiq. Coach really wants to give Sadiq more chances to prove himself.

Olayinka would definitely get his chance same as Onyeka.
Not surprised that he is not spearheading the attack as he is a SS or a false nine. He may come in for Iheanacho but if Jololo didn't live up to expectations then he would replace him.

Didn't know why NFA didn't pay the fine and replace Ighalo with Cyril Dessers. Dessers style of play would have given us more options to explore.

He’s a forward, he can play from the flanks while either Awoniyi or Iheanacho plays centrally.

But let’s Safari said, it’s all good, we’ll see today whether Sadiq Umar is an Eagles material or just a quota candidate.

O pari

How can he be quota candidate when you don’t have another options better than him?

Or was anyone not called that was suppose to be called?

This is why we will win the AFCON. We don't have our best players, but not having a single stand-out player makes everyone play for the team. What we have is a good team all round without necessarily looping long balls to Osimhen and inshalllah like we have been doing for the past two years under Rohr.

If we can sustain this momentum, we will be a difficult team to beat going into the world cup and we could replicate Ghana's 2010 performance. Surprisingly it's not even us noticing it, it is our Ghanaian brothers.
Do you know that Ghanaians have exact same complains against their coach as we had against Rohr? That he plays conservative football, that the team lacks footballing identity and plays without flair and belief. I'm like thank God we saw into the future and quickly set Papi Rohr home.

This was exactly my thoughts when we played Egypt.. We were coming with a new system. The Egyptians must have studied our system under Rohr...
Today, it looks like we are playing a 3 man midfield .More flavour indeed...

there is no need to make reference to that period no need to go into details because it was really bad. The onyeka u are talking about is in camp OGA, do you think Eguavoen at this point is seeking cheap money? The man is looking for glory . So if he performs he will feature . who will believe that simon will produce such performance? Or u think he will intentional leave him out? Omo, stories showed that iheanacho has been massive in camp and we saw the result. At this point the coach knows more than you, swallow the bitter pill. Whoever he fields is the best. It would have been different if onyeka was not in camp.

The camp is for a few weeks .

What you have not done in your club season after season , you are not going to do in a camp of two weeks. No matter what the coaches say.

Stranger things have happened in the NFF I remember 2018 World cup Elderson Echiejile was clearly not fit and not able but he went and Aina was made to stay behind.

Stories are not FACTS.

I wish some people on this thread can be on this Twitter Space

Somebody is saying that there is no correlation between players quality or clubs with national team call-ups. The only connection is apparently between Agents and the national team

So, na man know man dem dey use enter their team, abi agent know man

I could tell you a few crazy stories that I can never prove.

But I've met a few White European agents that have told me some of stories.

And there is infamous super Naija agent Shittu, his activities are well in known in the past era with NFF officials.

Watford have completed the agreement with Bordeaux to sign Nigerian winger Samuel Kalu. Final fee will be €500k plus bonus as Romain Molina clarified.

Contract completed, official announcement soon.
