TheGoodJoe:This one kept repeating itself. Many happened in front of the coach. I was like is he blind. In one, Zaidu made the move to Simon. Overlapped behind him. The channel to Zaidu was closed down. Nacho opened up in the hole to get a pass from Simon, which if it had happened Zaidu will be on a freeway. No Simon didn't make that pass. He hugged the ball and tried to wriggle his way. Utter rubbish. Chukwueze was doing the same. Simple one touch football. Our wingers simply didn't play with the team. You can take on a player when one is in front of you, but trying to dribble 2-3 players over and over again is madness. Just recycle the ball. Simple. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Is this how we want to play at the world cup? Playing like an average team with no tactics. Anywhere belle face kinda football. Eguavoen is a mistake and he shouldn't be allowed near that team again. 7 Likes 1 Share |

The set pieces from both sides was comical for world cup hopefuls. Very amateurish particularly from Ghana. A flashback occurred when we kept conceding those corners to Ghana. Korea/Japan 2002, Argentina made us pay from one their corners, same in South Africa 2010. African teams really need to improve. 2026 will be an expanded world cup with more teams from Africa but we must also show we aren't going to the mundial to make up the numbers. 3 Likes |

Honestly with the way we are crying over a 0-0 result in a packed and hostile stadium I kind of feel the Ghanaians have been right. We do think we are all that and a bag of plantain chips. This is absolutely not the time for negativity. Unless of course u don't want the Super Eagles to qualify then have at it. 7 Likes 1 Share |

semid4lyfe:I guess I watched another game. Balogun was the reason why the defence didn't collapse. Ekong was error prone in that game. Yes he might have lost some pace but his positioning and ability to disposess ball off attackers is still up there. Watch the game again bro, you ill see that Ekong was the weak link. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Osimhen should grow up and stop looking for cheap favors from the ref. He was just falling all over the place instead of playing football. 8 Likes |

Subzero47:Until Etebo and Frank entered the fray. He disappeared. I had prayed that Aribo be left and Nacho yanked off. We already have Dennis and Lookman with Osihmen. The trio are capable of getting goals. The gaffer should keep the same backline. Frank in cm and Etebo sitting deep. with Aribo in AM. Keep Lookman. Dennis, Osihmen in the front 3. I guess the GH passing through the middle will come to zilt. 2 Likes 1 Share |

kingphilip: It was the way the ball whizzed through traffic for me. Awesome Pass by Iheanacho, definitely worth him being on the pitch. People can't insult the midfield and also bash Iheanacho. If we could barely get the ball what was he supposed to do? 2 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: Nacho had a mediocre game last night. Truth is he has had many more stinkers than good games recently.. Nacho shouldn't start the return leg, Eguavoen should play Aribo behind Osimhen and save us the sluggish nonsense we endured from kelechi. 1 Like |

Samueltemi337:Laughs in stanzas. Was there even more than 2 crosses the whole game?? Even the one Simon had opportunity with Osihmen, Aribo, Chuks rushing into the penalty, he decided to cut back for Insigne move, the way Banku boys bashed him off the ball, I nearly fall comot for seat with laughter. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe: Good observation. I noticed Etebo was dropping deep to collect the ball from the back 4. Etebo played as the DM yesterday while Onyeka played as CDM/Box-to-Box midfielder. I believe it's better if they swap playing positions for Onyeka to play DM while Etebo plays box-to-box in the return leg simply because Onyeka is better defensively. If Onyeka is given strict instructions to sit and provide cover for the back four, he will. |

Arizoner:Yes, when Etebo and Frank came in. He added more body in the MF. Ekong started covering for him. AE did a good tactical switch, the only snag was pulling out Aribo and leaving Nacho. SE would have pressured Ghana till they commit. |
