Yes from Ondo and born in Osogbo but grew up in Kwara.

By everything he is from Kwara State and more know as Kwara boy with their family house situated in Fate-Tanke area of Ilorin.

He started very early, golden boy of Nigeria youth sport festival and the first Nigerian to break 10 seconds barrier with 9.95 secs .We looked up to him then being our area bro,his younger brother Yinka is a very close friend now a pastor.

Thanks for the correction....*ADENIKEN*

Wow!! You even know him better than I do,
He is a distant uncle to me, I never met him in person though. Just use to hear my dad talk about him back then.

The point is the opportunity for the best players to make it there. Those positions are for the best. However, our players here have limited opportunities no matter how good they are.

Keep in mind, that even National league football will do a lot for many struggling players here. That is still limited.

Tammy Abraham has scored so much goals because of the opportunity that came with the background. That is the point.
Our players here have limited opportunities THERE. That is, the TOP CLUBS

Heck, every country's players have limited opportunities in the top clubs

This is the truth devoid of emotions

So how does this relate to the point? They have opportunities for vast players. Even third-tier league teams have high-grade academy facilities and coaching.

So it is tougher for players here.

That is the point.
With the high-grade academy facilities and coaching, MOST still will never play in the top flight!

How is that hard for you to understand?

If they who are of the system WILL LIKELY never reach the top, isn't it ludicrous to think those who are not in the system will do so...JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE TALENTED

Most will not play to flight but they will be in far better positions than players of the highest level in our local league.

The structure of the third and fourth tier of the English and Spanish Leagues are in far better condition than our Premier Leauge.

So this is not just about playing top flight but giving the future generation a better life.

They all have opportunities to fight for a place in the highest level. If they do not get there, there are lower levels they can fight for. If they do not get that, they gain education that will help them through life.

There are also sporting sectors they can contribute in. I think the third coach of Arsenal is a Spanish guy that is 26 years old trained through the Spanish system. Even if he did not play at the highest level, he is contributing at the very highest level in some way.

The point still remains that they have a gulf in class when it comes to grassroot development and their kids are given a better head start than ours.

what had you Don since then to start small,

and don't tell me the Article is related in some ways to how LA marsie runs their academy,

how are you just about posting and wishing only

There are people that are paid millions of naira monthly to fix this mess. There are those that get budget in billions to solve this problem.

I wonder when it became my problem to fix it when I do not get a cent from the investment that comes in from it.

I just put this out there to point people in the right direction. When I get the chance to effect change in some capacity, I will.

Finito.

Make we leave this age matter o.

Okay if I said Victor Osimehn,Taiwo Awoniyi,Iheanacho,Ndidi,Chuckwueze are older than their actual age,I know guys go hammer me here but truth be told we cannot actually determine the real age of these players cos the rotten system doesn't allow it.....better to have relative young boys in U21 than having 25 years old and above.

If anybody tell you that Ebuehi is older than Aina, would you not argue it,meaning face cannot be used to determine someone's age.

It is baffling because the statement is totally unrelated to the discussion.

Tammy Abraham has scored more goals than Osimhen professionally because of the Opportunities that came with him being born in England.

Your reply: Cut your coat according to yoru side. grin
Oga Joe,just say Osimehn had it rough with Wolfsburg in the beginning.A good start with Wolfsburg would have seen Osimehn triumph Tammy in career goal record.

Talking about opportunities, both players signed their professional contract almost the same year,Tammy 2016 and Osimehn 2017.....Tammy 108 goals over Osimehn 75 goals is not about UK born.

That was my point from the start. You can not expect international franchises like Swansea and Manchester city to operate like a local francise as Enyimba.
