I think it's already working in the background. grin You see my posts and they interest you so surely someday, something go click and you could catch the football bug.

But anyway, won't hold much hopes for its full manifestation. grin

Meanwhile... no need wasting your obvious intellectual superiority over these touts and twats who feed off gullible attention. They won't ever get it. In their realm, the realm of Idiocy, it's only more Idiocy they emanate. wink

Ahhhh, this one looks like it'll be hard grin. But no problem sha, we'll see. Time can be a great ingredient and factor in things; I agree.

Don't think it's possible for a humongous deal like Ronaldo - Osimhen swap to be completed in 24 hours.

Transfer Deadline Day. Here we go!!!

Just Dumb. And dumb is even an understatement. Hahahahahaahahaha.....

I hope Manchester City pulls off the Manuel Akanji deal. I feel we are finally going to replace Vincent Kompany.

He is smart too.

I trust he will bang in goals at Sociedad. Better Quality players and potentially better service compared to Almeria at this level in Spain.

Indeed, you are right. The Sevilla game did his reputation a world of good.

Real soceidad have talrnted players. Some of them are spanish senior or youth internationalsm. Their captain has played for dortmund before. He will get the service and score goals

Why didn't you folks just leave Akanji for Leicester naa? grin

I read he was initially linked with them following Fofana's imminent move but now they have shifted focus to another defender from ligue 1, Wout Faes of Reims possibly due to City's emerged interest in the lad.

Anyway, Akanji is a smart acquisition due to his quality but with Ake, Stones, Dias and Laporte, I wonder if Pep wanna go rotational at the back or does he also consider starting certain games with a 3-man central defensive backline? Or is one of the aforementioned 4 leaving? Or is this is just overkill of options? What happens to City's CB youngsters? No slot for them?

Well, Pep knows what he wants shaa.

No too much consideration snout who plays. The best will always start. I tip Akanji to break in fast.

Done deal.

True. The Best will/should always start. Agreed.

Okay, with Akanji joining, kindly give me your ranking of City CBs based on quality, tactical nous, technical advantages and reliability.

Your rankings also extensively indicate your preferred starting options.

Kindly make it in descending order.

I need to watch Akanji well to rate him. However,

Right footed defenders City rating.
Akanji
Ruben Dias
Stones

Left footed
Laporte
Ake.

I see Akanji and Laporte pairing in the near future.

Obviously Laporte takes the left side.

But wow, you take Akanji over Dias. Well, time will tell if Pep shares your pick but having watched enough of Akanji myself I can understand why you are really excited about him.

Time will tell.

There is a science to the beautiful game. Yes, not all of it is Science as individual expressions and instinctive influences must be allowed to thrive so as not to entirely make the game robotic and 100% mechanical but indeed a science, there is to football.

We saw some of it with the way Ugbade drilled those kids at the U17 WafuB tournament.

Paying attention is key. wink

EPL is spoiling football business.

Based on statistics, Antony is more or less an Ejuke with lighter skin and younger age.

PSG acquired Soler for about €20!

It would have been €60+ if he chose England.
