Really appreciate Frank Lampard for believing in Iwobi.I remember how he changed very average Tomori to a real CB and Tammy will never forget Lampard for giving him the platform.

Tega had already made it as a quality striker by doing exceptionally well in the Championship.

Lampard only confirmed what everyone already knew,

Athletico Madrid should have gone on to lose, if the match was never anything to reckon with.

Being top quality may not always translate to the zenith of endeavours. There are other requirements to it.

They cruised through the match in gear one no need to stress themselves.

It added nothing to them and they had nothing to prove.

To cruise through gear one means they experienced lots of traffic, and spent lots of fuel.

Rt. Hon. Joe, you are doing a good job. Laslas Nwakali doing well is for the benefit of our national team. Hoping he takes a cue from Sadika who is now in a top top team

The issue is, the ponferider or whatever the name of the club is, are a very poor team and would not gain promotion to laliga. I pray a bigger team picks him up cus it's long over due for a player of his quality wallowing in mediocrity is heartbreaking.

IMO he doesn't really hate them. You see ehn what he is doing is clearly retaliation. The dude has come under a lot of criticism for his English centered opinions in which he will downgrade leagues non English born Nigerians players outside the shores of england just to elevate the status of English Nigerian players in the championship. Most of those his players have not really been playing well so naturally the long arm of the thread's vawulence really dealt with him. The height of it was during fulham's last time in the EPL before this season. There was a Nigerian player he used to hype here who unfortunately flunked. I can't place the guys name but the way members here went hard on the player was so strong. Since then he has taken a relaxed posture on promoting his preferred players here and prefers to be on the attacking mode this time blasting nwakali with every given opportunity. You may notice that most times if he is asked to mention players better than nwakali in the championship he would use Grammar to avoid mentioning players.

Oniovo

Before you begin to scrutinize , appraise and assess players, there has to be some benchmark, of quality capacity and ability anchored on comparison analysis.

There are always exceptions and room must be made for them. Thats why I rely on my long standing proposition; "Better a Lion in a low level league and club than a mouse in a top level club and league"

The premier League is the best and most competitive league in the world. And so somebody doing averagely will most likely be a lot better than someone in low level league doing above average.

Even my proposition must be taken with restraint, you could be the number one outstanding Midfielder in the NPFL but the standard could be so low that even an anonymous mouse could be considerably better than you a Lion in the NPFL.

Comparison analysis the quality of league and club comes into the question.

The background to our current trajectory is Nwakali and the low quality and competitiveness of the Segundo.

I've said this before and I will say it again without apology . In general the money you have will determine to a large extent the players you will get

The Segundo division has a about 5 clubs at the top end who have some degree of quality and the rest below that from low to very poor. A league where the Villa Real B team ( academy Youth team) is above mid table.

None of the EPL L2 ( U23 youth teams) can compete in the Championship and will not be able contend competitively in League one.

That says the league is poor quality. Nwakali has been generally poor throughout his professional career. He is doing averagely well in this poor quality league. Is this a sign of improvement ❓or rather hss hr found his mediocre level.

Consider that Joe Aribo went from league one to the SE and had been outstanding since. He is now in the EPL and doing well above average.

If we can consider Nwakali as good quality for the SE, we have lowered the benchmark. What then about the hundreds of Nigerian players across Europe in far better Leagues and clubs.

Indeed the players in a lot of EPL academies are therefore by comparison good enough to be considered for the SE
