yea he speaks well
Normally, if you finish secondary school, I mean you really attend the School and you are average at a minimum, you'll be able to speak well. Secondary school is where you're taught to speak good English. Nobody teach you shit, in terms of English language in the university, after your 1st semester 100level English 101, which is not even as deep as what you've learnt in secondary School

It's one of the reason why people who speak shut English by the time they finish Secondary school, usually carry it on till they finish university because there is no prospect of any correction. Except few people who for personal reasons try to personally develop themselves

Context matters.

In this context, he's idolizing his football role model. Even though some ultra woke people will see it as too much, but as a moderate like myself, I'll let it pass grin

This Bajectic is a calamity waiting to happen.

Zero awareness tactically, positional
Only gone and done it again. Another error. 4-2 Madrid.

I don't find it offensive. He is white and Osimhen is a black dude. The boy is just referencing that. Unless it is a crime to say Osimhen is black.

Victor Osimhen zig-zags his way into the box and drills a low shot towards the right post, but the goalkeeper pulls off a superb stop.

1. Just because you have a star player, doesn't mean you'll qualify for the World Cup. Just ask Mahrez and Salah.

2. Osimhen has improved IMMENSELY since then

Just show him videos of Socrates, tell him Socrates was a medical doctor while playing in multiple WCs. Adokie Amasemaka was a law student while playing for Nigeria, he even became AG of his state, mathematical Segun finished from the polytechnic, Felix Owolabi has a PhD, Bonucci has a masters, Olofinjana has a masters etc. Long story short, he should try to do both. Infact you can use carrot and stick, with football has the carrot to be enjoyed but the condition is, he must perform well in school. Good luck Baba Oloye!!!
You didn't mention Sam Okwaraji, you this old head

Long passing is not basic to any position played in football, not even for goalkeepers.
First touch, short passing are the basics for all positions. Each position then has skills basic to it, for example for defenders, it is tackling and creating blocks.

As it is with long passing not being a basic skill, so it is with dribbling.
You don come. All forms of passing - long, short, forward, side - are basic to all footballers

I could see what the Super Falcons coach is trying to do.

Playing one DM and runners behind the striker. Working so perfectly well. We should be lead by 3 instead of 1 if not for Coastarica goalkeeper.
Uchebe and our new girl (number 23) have been immense!
