Victor Osimhen in this video said he started out as a defender.

https://fb.watch/iQz5Wm7q_F/
On a lighter note Had it been Randy Waldrum is Super Eagles coach, he would be considering testing Osihmen in central defense in our next game with this information..

But seriously I noticed Osihmen defensive abilities in games.. He has sometimes been on hand to clear dangers...

His on field leadership has also been visible this season. Leading from the front and rallying his teammates. Look how he immediately comforted and gingered Kvara after his penalty miss.

You don come. All forms of passing - long, short, forward, side - are basic to all footballers

What do you mean by 'You don come'.
I don't like that.

You don't have to list long, short, forward or side passing together, it will be very confusing to the impatient. A forward or a side pass can either be a short or a long pass.

Let me make things more simple or basic for comprehension. A team can string passes from their own half to the opposition's half and score a goal without the need of a long pass or other skills like dribbling. A basic skill is a skill that is most fundamental.

Osimhen is on course for 30 goals this season. I don't know if anybody has noticed. I noticed around 3 weeks ago.
When he does so big clubs are next. He is scoring in 80 percent if his matches. By calculating it is 34 goals this season

Think so too. Pray he stays fit and injury free.

Premium oil dey your head!!!! But then again, truth be told, sometimes some monikers talk about him too much and seem to paint the picture that his inclusion in the team will resolve all the team's shortcomings. The excessive mention sometimes seems awkward. All that said, I wish Nwakali nothing but the best for his career even whether he plays for 9ja or doesn't. After all players like Owubokiri, Akpoborire and Obiku had somewhat good careers in Europe without playing so much for 9ja.

Nwakali's inclusion will give us an advantage. An advantage that is quite unique in it's working's. Yes Nwakali's frequent mentions is a justified one. No other player in view, not Iwobi, Ebere or Olise will give us that.

You guys forget that Nwakali is playing in a country that prioritizes midfielders and midfield play so the indigenes will be 1st to be considered before anyone else... even Ramon Azeez had his own issues...

I think the best country for Nigerian midfielders is Belgium and Denmark and it also depends on the coach.... Mikel had issues with Conte and had to leave... Since Mikel, Bonke, Frank Onyeka, Ndidi and Iwobi have been the only Nigerian midfielders playing in top 5 leagues and even Iwobi position has been changed by several managers and Iwobi also has his struggles with different coaches since leaving Arsenal..

Nwakali has a skill-set of through passes, corner kicks, long passes that can bring out the best in the Super Eagles strikers and that's why he is needed in the team...

Against Tunisia he created a one on one opportunity for Sadiq by making a through pass to Sadiq which Sadiq missed. Now imagine if it was Osimhen , Lookman, Moffi or Ihenacho receiving that through pass and how we could have equalized...

football is a game of creating chances/opportunities and taking those chances. Nwakali can create chances that can put S.E 1 or 2 goals ahead and the entire team starts defending that lead at least that's what Morocco did anytime they scored the first goal that made them reach the Semi-Finals of the World Cup..

Against Ghana, there was no player to create chances for the Strikers, Moses Simon was trying to dribble everyone, Chukwueze wing was un-used...

Against Portugal, the same issue, no player to create chances for the strikers...

two players S.E needs and are not liked on this thread are Nwakali and Chidera Ejuke...

Thank you.

Correction Nwakali is playing in the Segundo division a dead poor league, in a relegation club that is near bankrupt. He is surrounded by poor quality players just like himself.

After 8 years of European football, he has been consistently continuously in retrogression into deeper mediocrity.

The best country for Nigerian Midfielders is according to you Denmark rated 17 and Belgium rated 8 in Europe. How did you come to this conclusion please ❓

Long ball passing or pinging the ball is a basic skill set that you will taught in ever EPL academy.

Nwakali will struggle to get a league two club and Ponferradina FC would be playing in the English league two at best .

You can hit a long ball on a training pitch in drills. However, in match play, movement of opposition, and teammates, it takes intuition and brilliance to hit a high number of accurate long balls.

If it is so basic, you would not find it difficult to give us names. Something that is so basic. Taking out time to say easy league, poor players is a joke. Spanish midfielders there that are trained from small in the art of midfield play in that league did not hit that kind of number.

You literally have not made any proposition.

We are talking about adding a different dimension to our midfield play to improve our creativity and service for the forwards. This has been a problem for years.

Kelechi Nwakali has a wicked long ball attribute that we believe can bring that extra dimension.

Now you who knows football and have football sense, tell us your proposition and the players you want to give is hunger for success.

I am waiting.

Now you are done wishing people bad, make your brilliant contribution on how to fix our midfield issues. Hence you have a burning passion and hunger more than all of us on this thread.
