Imagine Serie A capturing both the UEL and UCL. That'll give the FIGC and Italian football a much need impetus. The only issue is they need to produce more Italian stars. Alot of Serie A's current success is due to foreign talent.

I think the major problem with serie A clubs is they hardly give chance to younger players straight from their academies

That is changing recently though but a lot more hv to be done

Jose Mourinho:

”The only teams that don't suffer are those exceptional teams that have €40 or €70M players on the bench. Álvarez, Foden and Mahrez entered yesterday at City. We lose 4 or 5 players and we suffer. In Rome the one who enters is because it is his turn. We invested €7M in the market and we are in the final. What we did is extraordinary."

I may not applaud Mourinho's style of football but it is nonsense to talk down his achievements

I honestly thought he'd just be in Roma as a transit job. But just negodu

It has not been one off so it's not luck. If he wins the finals he has nothing to prove to anyone

Portugal, Spain, England, Italy (×2)

If naso e easy make their favorites go try am.

Mourinho that can't win league will use continental to deceive people that he is achieving. Guardiola is so good that people try to pretend the EPL is not a major trophy.

Pep joined city after the 2015/2016 season, city finished 4th that year.

What are you trying to say bro.

I’m trying to say Real Madrid will likely finish 3rd this season does it make them a weak team?
Does it make those that finished higher than them a far better team ?

same here, he’s tactical approach is not pleasing to the eyes but he is one coach who is set out to win your club the unthinkable if given a chance

If I were him I will divert to national team coaching and I bet you that if he ventures in that route Jose has all it takes to win the World Cup someday.

He’s style of coaching/tactics isn’t well suited for league football presently but for tournaments where the goal is to get to the finals and win unlike league format

City finished 2nd and 4th respectively in the two previous season before joining city.

From 2013 city is the most likely favorite to dominate epl for the next decade their only problem is staying consistent and dropping points to smaller team

Check the record from 2014 till now head to head no top 4 has a better head 2 head than city
You’re telling a team that has never finished top 4 since 2013 is a little team oga rest your case abeg

You said pep will never coach a second favorite.

City struggled to qualify for UCL play off in 2015/16 season before pep joined them.

City are definitely not the first favourite for that pep first season.

Let's not forget that he inherited an old squad, with only KDB, Aguero and David silver being the only top players, the rest were not fit.

Pep is a genius no doubt but sometimes em dey over do to make he’s counterpart look stupid and mediocre which bounces back on him

I remember watching the replay of the ucl finals between city and Chelsea, how on earth will a coach deploy a formation to a cup finals without a pronounced defensive midfielder? This mistake of he’s gave Kante the opportunity and room to seize the middle of the park single handedly that night and I must say the French midfield dynamo won that game for Tuchel and he’s team

Another is the ucl semis against Madrid in bernabeu, he was leading comfortably till the 70th minutes instead of to bring in more bodies to the midfield and defense to shut Madrid off from having a sniff of city’s 18 yard box he rather brought in more attackers 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Till this day I still can’t phantom the reason why he made such mistakes in important and dicey stage of the ucl
