Bros, I think you’re talking about the old winger system aka the 20th century football. Modern wingers don’t need to have any of those qualities: crossing abilities, speed, etc. it’s not their jobs anymore. Today, we have those positions called “wingbacks” to perform those roles.

In the modern game, your wing forward plays more like a 9 and half. Got it

O pari

wayodude:

Awoniyi cannot play as a winger to the level required of a decent team. He doesn't have the footwork, speed or crossing ability to do that role effectively.

At the bolded. If you genuinely believe this and it makes sense to you then no wahala. I leave you to it.

Playing out wide in a forward position doesn't make you a winger. Awoniyi will be wasted in any of those sort of positions.

Minus money we are a better footballing country than saudi. Nigeria has that reputation in world football
From miracele of daman to champions league to okocha to osimhe.
What is saudi in world football
why you go remove money aside?? Well It depends on him if he wants to enter national team coaching back after his experience as south Africa's coach.

None might materialize 😀😀
It’d be nice to see him move on
Especially after conquering Italy
A fresh start sometimes can be reinvigorating
Napoli ain’t winning the league and champions league next season because a new coach will come with his own philosophy which will take some time to perfect
He’d be much more valued in Italy if he moves.
Victor will perform elsewhere

I should reply to your other post about this matter with a lot more depth.

Because you anchor ⚓ yourself on emotive preference not objective appraisal.

Consider Mikel Obi and Etebo they were not outstanding in the Championship good but not anywhere near the best.

Is Nwakali anywhere near the level of Mikel and Etebo❓.

And you are comparing the statistical foot print of players in completely different football ⚽ League. That is not wisdom.

What do you think would happen if you put Mikel and or Etebo in the Segunda division they will be like Maradona and Pogba plus Alonzo.

Waoh didn't realize Victor Moses has been brainless for some time.

You got 4 brain less likes as well.

VO signed for Spartak Moscow in July 2021 and then had a lucrative contract extension on the 10th February 2022.

As at the 10th February 2022, Putin denied publicly that Russia had no intention to invade Ukraine. He lied BLATANTLY as they invaded on the 24th February two after VO had signed the contract.

VO is essentially stuck in Russia and would probably never had signed an extension if he knew what Russia was planning.

As long as the current structure holds he won't win. Only 44 persons or so determine who the NFF president is and 37 of them (State FA chairmen) are politicians or chosen by politicians. There an urgent need to expand Congress to include more stakeholders who aren't offshoot of the political structure, sadly you need same Congress to approve this and they most likely won't as this will dilute their voting power.

One question can Saka cross ❓

Can he cross with pin point accuracy with both feet , instinctively without hesitation ❓❓

How many assists did Saka get last season ❓❓❓

How many Goals did he score last season ❓❓❓❓

Nothing 😔 more to say

Hoffenheim and super eagles defender Kevin Akpoguma signs extends he’s contract with the German club till 2026

Why doesn't he wait for a EPL club , a much bigger Bundesliga and or La Liga club.

If he is so good 🤔

Go and sign extension ☺️ nobody is really looking his side because he far from being one of the best defenders in the Bundisliga.

Sky Sport Deutschland: Bayern Munich remain in the race
to sign Napoli striker Osimhen

German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich remain
interested in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
This was confirmed by Sky Sport Deutschland transfer
market expert, Florian Plettenberg who wrote on his
Twitter page on Tuesday morning that Osimhen is still a
priority target for Bayern Munich.

He disclosed that the Bavarians still want to sign a
marquee striker in the summer transfer window and are
working on a strategy to make that happen.

The club executives Uli Hoeneß and Karl-Heinz
Rummenigge want to make a statement signing this
summer and have shortlisted Osimhen as a top target.

The 24-year-old is not the only desired target, with
French striker Randal Kolo Muani and England's record
top scorer, Harry Kanealso on their shortlist.

Osimhen is one of the best strikers in Europe at the
moment and has attracted the interest of big teams in
Europe.

While the Italian Serie A champions are still hoping he
signs a contract extension, Napoli owner Aurelio De
Laurentiis wants 150 million euros (estimated as N120
billion in Nigerian currency) from any team willing to
prize him away from the Blues.

Osimhen is also attracting interest from Chelsea,
Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
Bayern‘s position is very clear and confirmed again:
They still want to sign ONE big striker! They are pursuing
a clear strategy in the background.

Clubs are competing for the very best strikers they can get for the best price.

While Napoli have fuelled speculation with their outrageous transfer fees, clubs are completing deals.

I hope they have not decided to use delay and overpricing to prevent VO from leaving.❓

Sir K!!!!!!! Could Tomori still play for Canada? I really wish he had at least chosen Canada after he turned us down. He is deserving of a 3 Lions shirt and they aren't even considering him. He would have been a star with us or be part of the live wires of the Canadian team with Alphonso and Jonathan, anyway wishing him the best.

They did it with Koulibali, they could do it with Victor. But knowing Victor with his stubborness, it might be Napoli's loss eventually as Victor may just wait out his contract and move for stubbornness,. Honestly, Napoli shouldn't be greedy, strike while the iron is hot and make some good returns on the young man now.
