Iwobi currently undergoing his medicals at Fulham, should be announced today

https://twitter.com/SkySportsNews/status/1697539037433647273?s=20

One thing Komekn fails to understand is that there is a whole lot of advantage to being a black player born and bred abroad. It opens the door faster for you. Look at Iwobi who even injured and still could move to Fulham. Then look at Ndidi and Kelechi still struggling to leave for the past months since Leicester was relegated. Not to even talk about their white counterparts in the team like Barnes, Madison, and Tielemans.

Now take a look at Cyril Dessers and his Nigerian colleague in Cremonese. Cyril is a regular at Rangers now but I hardly hear about the other guy who performed better than Cyril Desser at Cremonese

To be born abroad is an advantage. You just need to be at least very average to get a team. Unlike players having to strive from Africa to conquer the world.

Unrelated, just read on BBC that Liverpool rejected the Saudi largesse for Salah. Paul Merson former Arsenal player is like Salah should take the money, that money means his grandchildren won't even have to work. He was like, Salah is 31, how many more years does he have left to play and he could have 50 more years to live. At the end, the Benjis are essential o. Me sef don dey watch Saudi league now.

They can arrange to have the contract postponed by a year if possible.
I mean a pre-contract can be signed that he will join the club next summer or at a stipulated time
preferred by Salah.
That way, they can spend the whole of this season and the summer looking for a replacement for him

Valid points and I think beyond football, Salah has extra special appeal to the Saudis as he is Arab, and also a mosley he just has to maintain his form inspite of his age.

Hellas Verona in crunch talks with Southampton for Joe Aribo. Deadline day move very possible. Depends if a fee can be agreed. Currently sit 4th in Serie A, but finished 17th in 2022/23.

27-year-old Aribo still one of the most versatile midfielders Africa has to offer. Needs an arm around him and he’d be fine.

I'm not sure who you mean.

If it's KC , I did not think any serious minded forward thinking EPL club would sign a low quality striker like him, IMO.

Iwobi is not injured. He and Everton agreed to not play until transfer window closed.
Club tested him and he was okay, but didn't reveal this to the media.

He will be in Fulham squad this weekend.

To be born abroad is an advantage. You just need to be at least very average to get a team. Unlike players having to strive from Africa to conquer the world.

Iwobi was not born in the UK πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ but Nigeria.

Iwobi has been largely a top quality consistent performer for Everton arguably the best player they have. His contract expires in months not years πŸ˜” best option to cash in, while they can. In addition Fulham is looking more stable than Everton currently.

If Everton survive relegation it will almost be a miracle.

Ndidi has not been a consistent performer indeed if you are to be honest he has lost form over the past two seasons as well as value. Add to that question marks about his long term viability ( dubious age) .

Ndidi may get a move but as a stop gap squad player in a good team. Or in a weaker struggling team with little money and options. He is not better than Tielemans or Madison. Be honest with yourself. I think he should stay in Leicester improve himself and hopefully they will get promoted.

KC is not better than Barnes that's a fact. Last season after 28 games KC scored 4 goals and Barnes after 34 games scored 13 in addition Barnes is a winger.

And you are here claiming discrimination you are being emotively biased.

If Iwobi had stayed with Danjuma and Beto no way Everton is getting relegated. Fulham has more risk of getting relegated but with Iwobi in and Paulinha deal not going through Fulham is now more competitive!
Bayern really wanted to sign Ndidi on loan but Paulinha display against Tottenham changed the transfer direction. Unfortunately Bayern has spent more time on the Ndidi deal and has not enough time to close the Paulinha deal. Fulham wins!

No not stupidity. Everton is getting relegated this season. The handwriting on the wall is very bold.

Just sideways movement.
