Our players retuned back to base, have started scoring and we are not asking what could be fundamentally, administratively and “coaching- wisely” wrong when they come for national duties?

There are many things to fault the NFF on, the reduction in the falcon's payment isn't one of them. The same article you read explains why that happened. FIFA is solely responsible as they had an agreement with Australia to tax whatever price money teams that played in Australia gets. And since Nigeria played their games in Australia the falcons sadly were taxed. NFF isn't the culprit here.
