I always knew Nwabali will catch some from the SA boys.

Their keeper kept 4 the other day, but they also lost 2 spot kick, so I no fear.

South African sporting glory is undergirded by their rugby and cricket successes, which are historically dominated by the White Afrikaaners.

If you follow South African social politics, you'd know how painful this loss is for the Black majority.

I can't remember the last time I've been this anxious. Jesus Christ, My chest. cheesy

The two players I thought won't do anything, because of lack of game time, ended up becoming our heroes. Glory to God.

Iheanacho and Moffi, may God bless your hands in everything you do. You have done your nation proud. You have shamed your enemies.

Captain Ekong, words can't even describe how impressed I am with you. You have been impeccable in this tournament. You must lift that trophy by fire by force.

Clear road for Eagles wey saaaaaaabbbbbiii. Who deeeyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!! 😎

Apparently Osimhen's injury was really serious

He just said in his live that at night he was knocking on chukwueze's door and was rushed to the hospital
He also traveled by road to Bouake

Sportilitica:

His decision making has been suspect for a while. I pray his milan move will help him improve because he has what he takes

comodo:

His decision making was just off chart. So poor. He has a problem with when to pass the ball and when to dribble or when to shoot at goal. I think his CNS needs some tweaking. His brain and his leg is not in tandem. Either brain was sending wrong signal or the legs were interpreting wrongly. He had opportunities of shooting at goal like 2wice.

At club level he plays well.. same thing with Moses Simon but Simon seemed to reduce his own a bit in this AFCON.

In case you think the ad was trolling Nigeria, you are wrong. Just to put proper perspective into it, there has been problems with power supply in South Africa for the last 3 to 4 years such that people have been forced to buy generators. They call it load shedding. The ad was trolling their ruling party ANC.

That said, lets respect Bafana Bafana. They exposed us totally. They took like 65% possession and played good football. We could have lost. Thankfully, we didnt.

Respect Super Eagles for fighting real hard
Not tearing down your post but 65% is an exaggeration. After the first 45, we controlled the game too

SA found a way to use clever movement and passing to disrupt what looked like an impenetrable defense.

Wouldn't mind if we play 4-2-1-3 in the final.

Nwabili

Ekong. Bassey.

Aina Zaidu

Onyedika. Onyeka/Yusuf

Iwobi

SiMoses. Lookman
Osimhen

It will be risky leaving any team to run rings like SA were able to do during the game particularly in the first half.

But moffi looks like he is heavy. Moffi I know is faster than the one I saw today. But please who sent that pass?? That was tailor made. Osimhen will be licking his lips if na him get that kind pass.

Yusuf is a DM/CM and DM's are trained to take short and accurate passes.

In this match, Iwobi was taking risky long passes instead of short passes..

And again once Aribo came on SE lost the midfield.
