To be honest, Okoye looks so dodgy whenever the Polish want to start pushing.

If Osimhen's ego will get in the way of the team seamless progress, then it's absolutely fine if Chelle drops him...I doubt Chelle will do it but he has to start stamping his authority on his team.
make chelle drop who?? LMAO

He wasn't tested till the goal. The few times Poland came near our goal, he looked slighted off and disinterested.

This is my thought.
how? Mk una free the young man the goal wasn’t his fault. Also he looks very confident and have played out from the back perfectly well with out jittery and mistake

Agenda dead on arrival

Imagine a SE team without players like Aina on the right, Bassey in defence, Iwobi in midfield and Osimhen and Lookman in attack still playing like a European team with clean passes and ball controls. What Chelle cannot do doesn't exist.

Lol... Charles always preferred him to Eletu and Daga. All 3 played together.

But truly of all 3, he has that Michael Essien playing style since the U20s.

Yeah..your man that year.

Meanwhile Denmark vs DR Congo is looking like a stalemate. 90+ mins and still no goal.

One thing I've noticed about this DR Congo side is that they're not the best playmakers. They're not even that good technically. What they have is good strength, immense stamina, dangerous counterattacking, and a defense that can frustrate the life out of you. That's why they're so hard to beat. Many of their games tend to end 1-1, 1-0 or 0-0 Lol.

Marseille started starting him towards the end of last season and they never looked back. He became so trusted in Marseille that he was used as a RB at the end of last season when their RB was injured

That’s why we need all of them to play regularly together more in matches like this it helps in fine tuning the team and stronger mentality for tougher games

The yeye Marseille coach was leaving him out of match squads for the flimsiest of reasons.

Hope he continues working hard and stays humble. Lad has ability.

How Moses Simon who has been playing professional football for more than a decade still can't put in a decent cross is baffling 🤔
The most annoying part about Moses Simon is his unnecessary holding on to the ball on the wings while backing a defender and trying to shield the ball when he can play a pass or release the ball to a team mate and advance the game.

Its childish, elementary football. It is a fundamental football flaw to play with your back to the opposing post as a winger. It causes traffic, slows the game, kills attacking momentum, allows the opponents to double up and dispossess you.

Rather than hug the touchline to receive the ball when you're being marked, tuck into the middle to receive the ball so you're facing the opponents goal and can advance play.

Gosh, Moses Simon football education is so 1960ish and his football IQ is low. 10 years in the Super Eagles, many years in Europe but still playing like an Otu. It's exasperating.

This match looks somehow. The transition is slow and the Polish tend to block the wings.

I think they need to intensify their transition when attacking.
