semid4lyfe:
The most annoying thing about Simon is his unnecessary holding on to the ball on the wings, backing a defender and trying to shield the ball when he can play a pass or release the ball to a team mate and asvance the game.

Its childish, elementary football. It is a fundamental football flaw to play with your back to the opposing post as a winger. It causes traffic, slows the game, kills attacking momentum, allows the opponents to double up on you and dispossess you.

Rather than hug the touchline to receive the ball when you're being marked, tuck into the middle to receive the ball so you're facing the opponents goal and can advance play.

Gosh, Moses Simon football education is so 1960ish and his football IQ is low. 10 years in the Super Eagles but still playing like an Otu. Its exasperating.
It shows in real life he is dull and that's why it has been hard for him to learn and improve.
Look at Dogu, he was excellent before joining Man City but at the beginning of him at Man City, he was playing like an advanced Moses Simon. But he has learnt and improved and he is now a monster

He's made himself the self appointed troll of this thread but lacks the personality and punch of Afobear and Blueelf.
As dimwitted as he is, Afobear is still the only decent troll on this thread. He doesn't try to play both sides. He's a full time hater.

Not these wannabe trolls that want to support Super Eagles one moment and then try to fake troll when things aren't going well.

I don't need to. What you're stating doesn't pass as an honest (meaning fair) review

Imagine where Onyedika they for donkey years, Nnadi don come they start ahead of him. If Alhassan was in the lineup, he would have also started or played ahead of him.

The yeye Marseille coach was leaving him out of match squads for the flimsiest of reasons.

Hope he continues working hard and stays humble. Lad has ability.
I think I read his excuses but somehow he can improve if he heads. The coach wants him to add more attack to his workmates. I think we are seeing it from this game.

The better word is "wrong" not "honest". I can be "honestly wrong" on something, doesn't mean I'm not being honest.

Nigeria just played into their hands.

Had Ndidi and Chukwueze not gotten in each others way maybe we would be discussing and arguing on SE World Cup squad selections by now.

I know a lot of people mocked him but maybe Chelle was on to something when he said juju was involved.

Tochukwu Nnadi is a press resistant demon! Hard to press or push off the ball. Strong lad.
I am watching with keen interest

Can we what Poland is doing now, this is why I wanted all our best players to be available to learn more about scenarios like this. Portugal too will offer us more

Lol... Charles always preferred him to Eletu and Daga. All 3 played together.

But truly of all 3, he has that Michael Essien playing style since the U20s.

Only Portugal will be the real test. This Poland is not that compact.

No caps. I termed Nnadi, our Michael Essien. Charles always preferred Nnadi to Daga especially but Elyte89 was already saying he would have Nnadi in the Super Eagles out of all 3 midfielders.

Elyte was always on and on about Nnadi every chance he got, whenever I mentioned him or another did. So you are not wrong as well.

Moses Simon should retired from super eagles or play as a sub
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Amedino99(m): 9:15pm
For someone that is injury prone, you will think he will take whatever chances he gets. He has 4 more games this year to break that record during the afcon qualifiers. So far he is not injured by then, the record should be his by dec.
Spainever:
I was thinking Osihmen would have use these friendly matches to increase his goals record for the national team.

Chelle is a great coach, he’s made the eagles put the ball on the ground and enjoy themselves

Looking forward seeing how the eagles will set up against Portugal

Netherlands 0-0 Algeria so far. Just about 20 mins left.

^^ For people who were writing off Algeria just because we disposed of them easily at the AFCON.
