What's up with our throw-ins? Why are we always in panic mode, but when it's the opposition's turn, they easily find their man? |

Abdullahi Ibrahim Bewene... A mixed first half as he was solid on the ball and going forward but showed lapses defensively. Stage fright it turned out to be as he returned a beast in the second half, stopping every foray he encountered, intercepting, tackling and even gliding pass his opponents. Unlike the 1st 45 from a defensive standpoint, he actually showed defensive improvements and cut off that meter of space he afforded the Poles. He started closing them down more, getting in their faces more and produced a well rounded defensive display. I dont know what Chelle told him at HT but whatever it was, it worked. Brilliant debut from the young man. Another gem from the Czech Liga. |

Are you people trying to blame Okoye for not saving a swerving shot?? ?? |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ThunderFireAgba: 10:28pm |
Amedino99:No dey swapped his place for Echiejile. The guy tell NFF he wan retire make dem allow am play for WC, so Rohr had no option than to gree and being Aina had not impressed him in friendly games especially against DRC we went Draw. The goal came from his wing. The same tactics of goal he allowed Adringa score us in Ivory Coast. |

Na save wey Enyeama use retire Ike Shorunmu b that oo…. Okoye is an amazing goalkeeper, but somehow somehow sand dey always pour for him garri🤣🤣… Even that game against Tunisia at afcon 2021…He made one sweet save like that, but that samd dey always find him garri…. Another thing again i will blame the players around that position to have allowed that polish guy to pick a spot to shoot |

Am not going to blame any player for the late goal conceded because the fact that they all showed up for this game will make me give them the benefit of doubt. Am just angry at those who didn’t show up, they are slowing down the good work the coach is doing! Well done to the boys today and hope they turn up against Portugal as well. |

jihday:we are not blaming him, we are simply saying it’s a saveable shot…not even in front of box18….that thing was just inches away from the middle line oooo |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by mank1234(m): 10:33pm |
When Messi was curling and Enyeama was saving the curler. Was the ball not changing trajectory. Even though he later conceded, nobody blamed him. No one is claiming Okoye for the first goal even though he was to the left of the post in an awkward position. That second goal is a team failure. No close down. Poor goal keeping awareness. E resemble that rubbish Spanish keeper do for Olise in 1998. |

I would have liked us to really see out that win. We still have a habit of conceding some late goals. Our midfield still needs work. Ideally you have ball playing midfielders that can possess and take the sting out of the game. Chelle dey show work sha. If I remember correctly, he’s still undefeated in regulation time (correct me if I’m wrong). |

minfelix:That shot will best even Buffon. It was the fault of the midfielders and the defenders to have allowed him to take that shot. |

It is really a big dent on Zaidu Sanusi who for all his experience dropped an atrocious display today. Even a 1st Cap rookie, Bewene totally outshone you hands down!!! Zaidu... Zaidu... Zaidu..... Your GWG time is almost up. TheSuperNerd: |

Nigerians are not angry enough. It is devastating that we will be seated home during this expanded version of the world cup. A generation of talent wasted. Damn the NFF to bloody hell!! |
