There is no, 'I think' in this matter.

The comparison was made in direct comparison to the supposed obsessive reliance of France on ZZ Zidane in the world cup. And our similar reliance on Mikel.

That comparison is simply not tenable. France had a team with a number of World class tried and tested top level players. For instance Deschamp, Thuram, Trezeguet, Vieira, Thierry, Pires, etc This team was star studded.

We are not on that level individually speaking. Our strength is in team cohesion, spirit and determination not on individual exceptional world beating talent.
he was only telling us the deficiency in over reliance on a player in this case Mikel Obi

If a whole star studded France can't keep their heads high when Zizou went out, then how much more the gwg

Hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha. Your last line funny. I detest people acting smug too but omo like someone else posted we can't change people. Na to enjoy ourselves and forget how them dey be the thing. On the pitch though he connects with the team and that's okay.
I have this visceral dislike for people acting extremely smug. This isn't his first time in camp else I would have made excuses for him choosing to be alone. He plays for one of the biggest clubs in world football so he very well understands the intricacies of social interation cos it's a requisite as a professional. Even messi dey participate for any fun wey barca or argentina dey get

Joel after seeing all the paparazzi going on in camp and the new kits, e go be like- are you sure this SEs? The kain vibe the young lads get no be here. Idowu and Ebuehi(the presumed introvert don join bad gang) are testament to that.

On the other hand make una all leave V. Moses alone. I'm sure he'll grow into the team and become one of the leaders in the nearest future(remember Mikel).

When will that be? this is his second world cup, his been around for more than 5years, he was there before onazi

Joel is still 27.. really 27 not football age... If he keeps himself healthy, he can still make the next world cup.

Coached a French club too

Idowu is not by any means an introvert. On the contrary he's reported to be a very vocal and outspoken guy.

You're very right. Before the original comes out, people would have bought the fake ones thereby reducing sales.

It seems some of us here don't read to understand, rather we just type what's on our mind.

Did you even understand what you quoted? If you did, can you tell me what I meant before typing this?

I think I got your initial post now. I totally missed it, I didn't know you get to join the confederations cup if bundled out of the CCL during qualifiers.

Thanks

Draw for CAF confederations cup.

Enyimba face a south african side.

Well Keshi did same with a lesser team than what we even have now(if you're judging by that only). l am judging from quality of each players as individuals.

Yes, you are right Keshi team did it but with BP, hypertension, heart attack, kwatankwa football etc. grin

I hope you can spot the difference. grin
