To make matters worse, we only have 2 keepers on hand

We don't have a natural LB that can replace Elderson yet. Idowu is not it at all as far as this particular game is concerned. Aina should come in...

I think we controlled most of the game until the last few minutes.. It is expected for the home team to push on.. Joel is a baller by the way and Kelechi should be allowed to take set-pieces..

no be only Aluko, na Akuko

Abeg, we are done testing... Before dem say na Joel Obi, now the Joel don come, na Aluko you dey find. If it is only Mikel we will have to do that job, we will manage him like that mbok. E no dey easy to injure Mikel, he go survive through 8 matches at most

Na Joel una wan blame now? What is Joel's style of play? Is he the type of player that will hold the ball and slow it down when our team is suffering? Is that why he was brought in? Joel has been way better than Ndidi as a matter of fact and both have done their work well. Why didn't we put in a ball holder in there? If Ighalo keeps Iheanacho on the bench then he should stay there, put in Ogu and let him be that ball holder. However maybe the coach has a secondary plan, second half now

We were in the beginning, but our possession waned later on

I think Rohr should switch the Formation to 3 - 5 - 2 in the 2nd Half, coz it seems only Echiejile is a natural FB, others are WBs.

Also we gonna need to control the Midfield to win this Match, I wouldn't mind sacrificing Moses for Awaziem to join the CBs, and Iwobi moves to the middle as an AM.

Mikel is just so important in this team.

Joel has been quite underwhelming. Not connecting with the attack like he should.

Abeg make una calm the Bleep down joor. Na Poland presentky world #6 una dey play against. The only problem so far is Shehu is getting runned over and the Polish defence is being extremely physical with our ball holders, so passes up front are not being completed. Also Moses needs to let Iheanacho PLAY....

Balogun and Ekong have protected Uzoho well..
Those guys can also protect the likes of Ajiboye, and they did protect Ezenwa against Cameroon.

I think we had a very good half.. Ezenwa had similar shaky moments against Algeria.. Right now, we have no real experienced keeper.

Like i have said on this page before, Ebuehi is our best right back...

This is an away game so it is a very good test against a hostile crowd..

Same page, My man, I don't understand where all the negativity is coming.

-Poland sixth in world. Nigeria seventh I'm Africa.
-The bookies pitch us heavy underdogs at 5+ odds.
-Away from home.
-Match a sellout, 90% of the fans Polish.
-A 19-year old amateurish goalkeeper.
-Eagles missing their number one talisman.

I could keep going on and on to prove that this has been a positive half. C'mon brothers.

which game? They have hit the bar, scored a goal and could have been 2 up while we have had ZERO shot on target. We have been running around I will give that to us

Did we genuinely control the Game in the first Half?! Coz to me we controlled nada! We were poor with Possession, no cohesion, no tactical and swift movement of the Ball, except gragra Footie so far.
possession was 56%-44%....that can hardly be said to be poor

we are watching the same match. Factually only Balogun and Ndidi/Joel(both don dey fade sha) came for this match. To make matters worse we have covered a lot of KM, fatigue will be a factor in favour of the Poles come the second half

Lots of running from the Eagles and initial gra gra. They have marked the Poles well but haven’t done with with the ball when they get possession. The Poles have been more threatening. They hit the bar, their no 10 would’ve scored from the free kick that flew across the post, the controversial clearance from Balogun...Uzoho was very awkward there.
Shehu need to compose himself, passing the ball behind Moses and he nearly committed the same foul that gifted Algeria the penalty kick in Algiers.
It’ll be a very good draw if Nigeria can prevent them from scoring in the second half. The Poles are good and comfortable with the ball when under pressure.

Joel played fairly deep, I think he played well.. The Polish style does not favor our counter attacking style.. They always have several players behind the ball.

I believe his name is Ejide

Ejide was clubless for almost 2-3 season and he is in the second division in israel.

I don't think he's better than Dele Aiyenugba who is in the Isreali first division.

Are you justifying the Game with Possession only?! How many Shots or Attempts do we have on Targets?! Possessions don't win Games, rather Shots on Target.

U too sabi talk anyhow to gather cheap likes. Uzoho is clearly under pressure and I made reference to his age to hide the fact dat he has been below expectation in the match just as Mourinho diverts focus from his underperforming players. And read wat I said in my 2nd statement. No dey come here dey do like Mother Mary. Na u know everything pass. I no blame u cos of cheap likes wen u dey get from some guys here. Normally guys go dey talk football woman go come shun dem down? Don't try to quote me next time.

I was not trying to blame Joel.

You apparently misunderstood my post and I honestly cannot explain it to you if something so clear can be so misconstrued undecided

And it is only you and your misunderstanding self that knows how Ighalo and Iheanacho entered this discussion.

Potentially we can win this game. We just need players who can hold the ball instead of trying to play tiki taca. The poles aren't even pressing so well, this is a polish team that made ZERO impact at the Euros
