So will any scientific procedure....even DNA tests or HIV test. The question is not if there is a degree of error but how much uncertainty you are willing to accept.

A standard deviation of 0.9 for a mean of 18.3 yrs means that if the MRI says you are 18.3 years old, then there is about 70% chance that your age is between 17.4 yrs and 19.2, 15% chance that you are older than 19.2 and 15% chance that you are younger than 17.4. If only 15 out of every 100 people tested will be older than 19.2 in this case, I will say that the MRI is doing a darn good job. I don't think an 85% grade is poor for the purposes of stopping age cheats in cadet football!

My problem with this standard deviation of +/-0.9 is that black Africans weren't sampled in the said test.
I have a pdf report of a failure rate of about 46% on 86 Ghanaian boys sampled. This percentage is not negligible.

Keep in mind we are talking of the game I commented on Mbappe's performance. Definitely, not the game I missed.
The game we are talking about is the Man city Monaco game which ended 5:3, you can see from the screen shot a moniker posted the result immediately after your post.
How have you suddenly become an authority to analyze a game you didn't watch.
But I'm the one reading stats and not watching games. Lol

You are just being deceptive and funny.

I am talking of the game I came here and said I was not blown away by Mbappe. It is clearly not the game we won but the game we got eliminated. I made a mistake thinking it was the first game but you can clearly see I myself stated I did not watch it.

I am talking of the game I said from what I see, Mbappe would bench at City and would not be a regular.

I am talking of a game I watched and I am not long stating that Lemar and Bernardo Silva was better than Mbappe in the game. It is clearly a game I watched I was talking about.

When you are ready to discuss serious football, let me know.

Finito.

Still trying to evade the truth. The failure is underage boys failing the test. This shows it is harder for Africans to pass. So the whole our MRI scan passed players are overaged is clearly defeated.

Liverpool continued their pre-season preparations with a 3-2 win over newly promoted League Two side Tranmere Rovers in a friendly at Prenton Park (Birkenhead, Merseyside) on Tuesday evening.

With Nigerian winger Sheyi Ojo impressing against Rovers, Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has a decision to make before the close of the summer transfer window, whether or not he will be sent out on loan.

Ojo, who was named in the starting lineup along with Dominic Solanke, provided the assist for the first goal scored by Rafael Camacho before he doubled the advantage.

He cut inside on his left foot then fired past goalkeeper Davis in the 27th minute, Adam Lallana made it 3-0 six minutes later.

Klopp made eleven changes at half-time, taking off Ojo and Solanke, who had a decent game.

Ojo, who spent the whole of last season on loan at Fulham, will be hoping to impress the German again when Liverpool face Bury in their next pre-season game on Saturday, July 14

I asked a question and you haven't answered. How do you imagine an overage player who passed the test will come out and say he is over aged but passed the test thereby reporting himself and risking arrest for forgery.

It's not like we don't have players whose ages are questioned despite passing the test.
You have to think deep to understand my post.

I gave an instance of Fortune Chukwudi. He did not come out but reports emerged that he was overaged. Even pictorial evidences posted. We are yet to get such report.

Another deceptive post.

When the comment was made, Mbappe was not a £200M player. By the way, the club will cough out that much if they believe his impact is important. We did not.

Exactly, Fortune Chukwudi is the face of age cheat. He's the ultimate reference point. There is no age cheat except it is of Fortune Chukwudi magnitude.
By the way, do you know Fortune Chukwudi passed MRI scan in Nigeria and Qatar where the team camped? I bet you didn't know.

The question on the lips of many is how did Fortune Chukwudi Golden Eaglets captain pass the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) test first conducted at the National Hospital in Abuja and the subsequent test performed in Qatar where the team prepared for the FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Since the news broke out that 15 Golden Eaglets players failed the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) test carried out in Abuja few weeks to the kick off of the 13th edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, the issue has been on the burner and the NFF have done everything to keep the issue quiet.

https://allafrica.com/stories/200911130920.html

Even then, former Nigerian international Adokiye Amiesimaka still claimed in a weekly newspaper column that Under-17 captain Fortune Chukwudi was overage, despite passing the test.

www.standardmedia.co.ke/mobile/amp/article/2000004473/grappling-with-the-football-age-factor

MRI is not conclusive. A 25yr old Fortune Chukwudi passed the test with flying colors twice (in Nigeria and Qatar).

Which club? The same Man city he turned down? Every big club in Europe was ready to roll out the red carpet for Mbappe according to Wenger.
Mbappe went to Psg for €130M that same year, so what are you saying?

Actually it was 36m. At the start of his last season with Monaco. Still crazy considering he hadn't even played a full season

Yesterday's match was the first match the French national team was really stretched to the limit. Yet, they came out unscathed.

What a brilliant side replica of their Golden Generation.

Umtiti = Thuram
Kante = Makelele
Pogba = Viera.

I have to comment here because this is deceptive.

There was no mandated MRI test by CAF or FIFA in 2009. Any test (If any) that might have been conducted was done by Nigeria alone with no independent party and hence subject to the Nigerian factor.

Currently, test results are monitored by CAF and FIFA experts because they are mandatory. In 2009, we only had random tests by CAF and FIFA meaning not every player was tested.

That you have to refer back to 2009 is testament to the success of mandatory MRI tests. We have not had any significant verifiable age scandal since.
