Spanish teams don't let those type of loses demoralize them so they were ready to go and took the game to Barca.

but it is the same technical/tactical/physical prowes that would come into play and barca>>>>sevilla.
5-0, 3-1, 4-2, 6-1, what score were you expecting?

World cup dynamics have changed, many teams are now ready for it

Pele and Maradona were lucky to be in the best teams of the time
The Argentine team in '10 & '14 were not nearly as bad as the ones that won it in Maradona's day

To earn this seat at the table of the greats you do what other sportsmen do, lift your team to glory.

Lol, so everyone is now shy about accepting that they hyped Samuel?...
What are you guys scared of??, that some people would beat you for hyping your indigenous talent?

Abi, so freaking what if you hyped, are you scared they would come for your head for "overhyping"? ...

I don't usually the join the hype train, but mhen, if you feel like hyping any player, you have the freaking right to hype your player to the heavens, and don't freaking give two f's about anybody... Na we player, na we pikin, if we dont hype him, who will na?

The way they attacking those that say good things about a player, anytime a player has a rough patch ehn, now pesin go be like "make i no too talk now, before dem go fire me, when e play bad"

Don't let them shut your voice guys... Hype your players, sell them to the world...

I do not think people are scared but ignoring them. Even players like Thierry Henry and Carlos Tevez hit rough patches.

Maradona won the world cup with this team

Compare it to the shambolic midfield and defence of Messi's Argentina squad

Mind you during Maradona's time Brazil, Argentina and West Germany were the only contenders

So how do u explain them being the better team for most of the match? If we were to go by your logic they should have just layed on the ground for the whole match.

I'm a big fan of Messi, but until he wins an international title with Argentina, his status as the GOAT will still remain debatable...

Messi was in World Cup '10 with one of the best squads in the tournament likewise @ 2014

Maradona's time had France, England etc. In summary, all the greats beat the best to earn the Legend

I was so disappointed by Sadiq Umar shambolic display for Peruggia today....he needs to build up his muscles and gain some kind of balace.....just falls...though there was no space for him.. he was subbed in too..thats Italian football anyway, few spaces...but he must grow.. time is ticking,

I dey ready for them.

The upcoming Copa America might just be his last chance!
All the excuse of him playing with a crappy Argentina team doesn't hold water!
Ronaldo won the euros with an average Portugal team too

he was just unlucky to lose the final.Yes, Argentina had the best team then but which of them showed up? Aguero was not at his best, Di Maria got injured and Higuain was missing chances like tomorrow no dey. Team efforts always prevail over team quality.

bro, funny enough..team tends to performe well in messi 's absence. I can still remember the 5-1 trashing of Madrid. But whenever messi is on the field, the teammates will be like ' just give him the ball' .That is Argentina's problem.

Ronaldo helped Portugal reach the final...

And you are blaming Higuain and Co for Messi's failure to win the world cup... i thought he was the goat? why would he need his teammates help to win?

Portugal was just lucky...and, how many goals did CR7 scored? what was his overall performance? Dude was given silver boot and dash his teammate like say na piece of trash.Yes ,I blame Higuain and Co. simply because they didn't turn up when needed.

you may be right but you should remember football thrives on luck, Messi had been to 3 finals and lost all. who did you think shoulder the responsibilities? The reason why he is referred to as GOAT is because, what he fails to achieve with his NT, he make it up at club level. And, when all his laurels both with NT and club are combined together, he triumph.
