Ikechuckwu Ezenwa does not deserve to be called to the national team. You may call it arrangee, nepotism etcetera. Na still d same kwurruption. grin

Hahaha you see yourself?

I was only citing a case or cases where a coach openly stated his preference for his own kind of players.

Why u claim u didn't come across any such statements keeps me wondering

Pple who really followed Nigerian football between 2002 and 2004 would easily relate to what I said.

Recall his comment when asked abt y he took Adepoju(hu was virtually called back frm retirement) and Opabunmi to the 2002 WC when it was obvious they were nt good enough at that time to make d team.Remember he dropped Finidi George, Sunday Oliseh, Tijani Babangida and Victor Ikpeba. The Nigerian press tagged him a tribalist nt jst bc he picked Opabunmi and Adepoju ahead of the above mentioned Golden generation Eagles bt bc of the ethnocentric reason behind his decision. It was d Ibadan connection though Onigbinde is from Modakeke bt was based in Ibadan jst like Adepoju and Opabunmi.

U remember what he said when appointed Shooting stars coach for the 2003/2004 season? He said he wanted to build a 3SC team that will comprise only of the Yoruba players. 3SC managed to escape relegation that season and Onigbinde was fired grin.
Have u noticed he is d last Yoruba to coach d Super Eagles.

Although i still respect that man a lot. U know he laid d foundation for the rise of Gambian football.

I see, na Onigbide made that @bolded ststement ba. grin

Out of the abundance of the heart......breeze don blow fowl yanch don show.... grin

But is that not the truth?

That your statement is one kain sha. Does it mean Yoruba coaches cannot coach the Eagles because they will be tribalistic? People are people. Even if you can prove that Onigbinde is tribalistic, he is tribalistic because he is a human, not because he is a Yoruba man, so the reference to his tribe is unwarranted.

So many things led to that discussion from way back from where forgiveness dug it up.

I am not saying a Yoruba coach cannot lead the Eagles bc they will be tribalistic. What i just stated was jst the way it is. None since after Onigbinde. Whose fault it is maybe the NFF i dnt know.

But lets put that aside and move on please.

I am begining to think that coach Rohr should start looking inward , come to the Npfl and pick goal keepers , also invite younger keepers in the likes of Alampasu , Emmanuel Daniel and the rest ...Carl Ikeme is an injury prone goal keeper .he can mess us up without informing us .

I don't expect a win in this match , but a win will only boost our confidence level and hide our weaknesses . I will love to see the combination of our young lads in the attack isaac success+ iheanacho+Iwobi .

I think we have good qualities of players ....if they can work hard , one day they will become world beaters .

I don't know what prior posts you are talking about.. but that's still your opinion. I'm sure others have agreed with me where you may have dissagreed. So we all are entitled to our opinions.. Feel free to ignore my posts next time if you have an issue with them..
Whenever I'm wrong I've admitted.
Did you take the time to read that digital edition I've been referring to. Yes I am not Odey's parent. But if his parents started him early in school in Ajegunle, fine. He revealed that after graduating from secondary school, he played for a couple amateur teams. And after a botched deal, he had another chance before he signed for MFM and has played there 3 seasons. Based on my math i'm estimating he is above 19. we can keep arguing here till tomorrow. I care less if you disagree. Thanks!

Funny that u care less but u take time to write out this speech. Did i tell u to shut up, or that u are stoopid? I made a comment which i am well within my right to do, so stop being a cry baby. Just like u can make any post u want, I can also counter ur opinion if i want. I didn't tell u that u just like to type or tell u to ignore my post if u don't like it. Lets do this like adults, this is football talk. My problem is why now? Why try to scandal the boy's name while he is on the rise. U posted that he scored 2 goals yesterday but u also made sure u let us know they were penalties with an lol. U then said the NPFL sucked and got into calling Odey an age cheat.

Ur last 2 sentences there really got me laughing.

But gents, I think we should pipe low on this Odey's age issue.

We should discuss more of his abilities pls.

All for the good of Nigerian football.

record is very powerful, they has a strong team and they didnt qualify into the semi of last afcon?

they have better players on paper but they are not as good as a team compare to the SE.

record will repeats itself.

Good point. I think we really need Emmanuel Daniel in this team. To me, he's way better than both Daniel Akpeyi, and Ezenwa.
