He needs to show it consistently at club level. We all know the talent is there. How does he show it consistently against higher level competition.

Lets be honest, the issue with Nwakali is not that he hasn't performed but he is just unlucky....but I still believe in the boy.

What was Uzoho when he went to the World cup ❓ You are creating double standard comparatively.

Maduka should start in my opinion.

Go and start him

Nwakali actually got a standing ovation when he got removed.

The only time he shows promises is when he wears the national team jerseys.

It was even in the 1st half he played well. Dropped in the second half. All in all the first-half performance was enough.

He was trying to get subbed, so he started playing rubbish and fouling until he got carded and was removed.

He has not performed. It is not about luck. He needs to show that he is the best player on the pitch. You can not be too relaxed to do that.

His performances at Porto B were not good enough. He does not get enough goals and assists.

Talent is not enough, you have to show it.

This is a young player that is still learning the ropes...he will have challenges but the difference is how he overcomes them. Its not like he is soo irresponsible.

I just wonder how a midfield of

Ndid, aribo and iwobi will b like

Playing Ndidi with Aribo will give Aribo more freedom to join the attack and Ndidi will do what he does best which is repel attacks

I hope he overcomes them. He needs to really start showing up in the games at club level. The best players take charge when things are not going well. They carry the team on their neck. Nwakali showed that he can do that in the under 17 final against Mali.

His ability is not in doubt but he goes invisible in games at club level.

I understand where tbaba1234 is coming from. Kelechi Nwakali at a point was tipped to be our next Mikel. So much expectations on the young Nwakali. The boy is talented no doubt but he looks like a player that has refused to shift gear from 1 to 2 .
