Cos the young man was called upon at the wrong time. The Nigerian players were under intense pressure. İf the Brazilians were clinical enough, he could have easily conceded at least 2 goals. And he could get crucified for that. So now he could get another chance without raised eyebrows.

Now i understand

I didn’t watch much of the first half though, but scoring immediately after the break must have come wirh some strategy.

abeg azeez is not a 10 oooh
he can't pass very well...like link the midfield with the attack...
iwobi is still the best for that...iwobi thrives better in a team that holds more ball possession
What's does this your post have to do with the fact that Iwobi was missing in action and should have been replaced!?!

Rohr does not read games well.

We do not have a replacement for Iwobi. Azeez will not give you attacking invention

yeah
azeez is a good sub when you wanna defend a lead.... but not to initiate attack...
aribo is even better as 10 self

Kudos to uzoho nice performance.... Ndidi tried in d first half, but @ d end ,he remained d same ndidi we use to knw in eagles, simply average,

there really was no "change" in strategy.
Before our goal/water break1 we were matching ourselves end to end. Then we ceded things and you know the rest

Onuachu is a secondary school player his control is poor his positioning is poor his height disturbs him grin
I would love to see Ramon man that midfield to give Iwobi a run for his money.
Ajayi held his own today, Awaziem has proven he can play any defensive position
We still lack a ball holder and distributor Iwobi not stepping up
Overall good score draw for the SE
that guy should change sport. Maybe consider basketball cheesy cheesy

This is exactly why Nigeria needs another number 10. İwobi seems to be oscillating between Very good and sub par, like a discrete quantity.

Simon doesn't strike fear on opponents as a Winger he is, always playing kick and run football against bigger opponents... embarassed

No tricks or skills, just one dimensional... angry

It's a pity!

It was very balanced in the first half but between 45 and 70 minutes, Brazil controlled the game. I think we ended well

On paper its a game the brazillians should win convincingly but as a team, they are out of form at the moment..we have the tools to hurt them so we will definitely score more than one goal..we are a team that has been on a rise. Howbeit slow but steady..that is progress..
I predict a nigeria win or draw..
Onachu should only come in if he is our last option

A good game.

The manner of approach shows the team really did their home work ahead of this game.

The defense was our best section of the team today. All 4 defenders took their various turns to intercept goal bound moves. They also defended well together.

We lost most midfield battles but due to slow build up of the Brazilians they were most times able to recover and shield the defense. Aribo was the stand out performer in that section. Ndidi was his usual self while Iwobi didn't do enough to link up play with the attack.

We were always deadly going forward with electrifying Chukwueze and Simon. Osimhen's pressing was also a cause for worry for the Brazilian defense.

The full backs didn't do well enough to link up play with the attack but that's fine for me, considering the nature of opposition.

Uzoho is improving with each game and Okoye came in, though not tested, and showed great composure. I think we are building goalies for 2022 already.

The substitutions didn't change much of the course of the game. They didn't do badly, but I must single out Onuachu. That guy should go play basketball ball abeg. grin

Wait! Was it just Brazil that we played 1:1 against?

UP NIGERIA!!!!!!!!!!
