So nobody predicted 1-1 draw... grin grin

Anyway its a gud match however, neymar absence helped us in d first half, we gain more confidence immediately neymar was removed during d first half ,however going forward in d 2nd half...d Brazilian took charge all d way,got d equaliser and almost got d winner.. Kudos to uzoho nice performance.... Ndidi tried in d first half, but @ d end ,he remained d same ndidi we use to knw in eagles, simply average,

Moses simon too,I sight u,u played well wink

Dt onauchu guy shld stop getting invite jare,d guy no b am, smiley

I will say it once again, we have a good Centre Back in Ajayi and his partnership with Ekong looks more assuring than that of Omeruo and Ekong.
Unpopular opinion but u are 100% ccorrect and I agree aabsolutely.
He has been producing good performances for his club aswell.

I think age is catching up on Omeruo thus making him play sluggishly.

Okoye did what he had to do well..

He was not tested but he showed good handling.

I didn't see the bolded bkus in the match I saw, Okoye's grips were so loose and short of convictions

It's weird to use Agu and 'intelligent' in the same sentence

It's weird because your head is stucked deep into Ndidi's "..." lol. Agu is a more complete DM. I don't fancy Olofinjana kinda DM

one key thing i noticed from ndidi and aribo's combo was the fluidity in movement and understanding.

ndidi strives more when he is not choked in his space. he indirectly was a single man defensive shield and that's where his best comes out.

aribo moving to and fro affords ndidi enough space while the latter's movement also helped out in attack and defense.

for now i think their partnership should be continued in subsequent matches.

Omeruo never really stamped his place in the center back,it has always been shaky. Did good at the nation's cup but I was never sold on him.

I dont see nothing special in Okoye, though his services were kinda OK. Dude was shaky throughout his stay between the sticks. Looks like someone still learning the basics. Uzoho made his debut at same age and scenario against a more quality team in Argentina of 2017, yet wasn't all nerves, instead he brought calmness to the backline and entire team, and, from the outset looked the real deal.

grin grin

So, a Messiless Argentina was more quality than this Brazilian team?

omeruo is still good but the edge ajayi has ahead of him is he is taller and a ball playing defender. ajayi oozes confidence in his play and for a lad of his height he has decent speed and good recovery rate.

Please cut the boy some slack. You should also note that Uzoho is playing with football age and could be 30 when he actually made his debut.

He is a real 20 year old making his international debut against Brazil so i won't be surprised if he appeared nervous. He will grow in confidence when he starts getting playing time.

Same Uzoho that has been shaky for long.

The super eagle team is almost complete. The starting 11 is known now but where the problem lies is the bench which is the reason I welcomed the inclusion of olayinka (after watching him against inter) and Azeez.

With the possible inclusion of Eze, Ehizibue and maybe uduokhai and also the u23 serving as a clear route to the super eagles for players I think we are on the verge of assembling a monster of a team.

It's now evident that balogun and musa's days are numbered because with what is on ground now I don't think they are better than what we boast of currently. Ajayi seem to be the perfect replace for aging balogun while Musa is not up to scratch with the wingers in our possession now.

For me.:
Dennis was on for abt 25-30mins but didnt make one reasonable cross into d centre. ... Isnt he supposed to be a winger??

Onuachu don try... Make we find someone else.

We need another creative midfielder... So maybe we should start a campaign to get eze.

Aribo is a very very gud player... Ppl here are saying dat he faded in d second half... My question to them is how do you play well without d ball??.. make una de use una head o....

The Ndidi I saw in this game was descent. I mean we played against a Midfield of Arthur, Casemiro and Coutinho. Someone is even saying Mikel Agu and Azubuike will do a good job. Same Mikel Agu that looked out of sort against Zambia during our world cup qualifier. SMH

Overall the players did well bar iwobi who was below par and as for Onuachu.... Lemme not talk
