Okay, if due process was followed, was Eze notified? grin
That would have been a good time for Eze to pull out and we will not be talking about disgrace. Why all this mama talk? grin

Barryseal:

Oga, maybe you don't have information how invitations get sorted.
Let me gist you. Players are notified 1 week or 2 before the invitation list is made public. Durring this little window, players can pull out if there are injured and replacement called up. That is standard practice. A player who has never been capped will be will be first contacted through his club or management to know his readiness.
Sorry to say, but due process was respected in the Eze saga. Only insatiable Nigerians will fault the management of the call up leaving the man at the centre of it all.
The bulk stops at Eze's desk here. You can't blame anyone else except you have contrary evidence.

It was accorded Ebuehi Bkus we never had him in our web prior his switch. U can give a call to a player who has no passport(as long as he's committed to u), then mandate the office responsible to hasten up and provide him with one.

BTW Leon declared two years before he was considered my Keshi, the big boss didnt go about craving his special consent when he was due for a call up

Eze has since honored a call to the English U21's since the London get together. You have to be a very poor manager not to consider seeking his consent before calling him up when his loyalty status is not defined.

Secondly, Keshi sort the consent of Balogun via a phone call. Balogun spoke about how excited he was to get that call, his father didn't believe him and told him it must be a 419 call when he told him Keahi called. that much Balogun admitted himself.

His mother could be his manager don't you think?
You know... Like Pogba's mum, Iheanacho's father, etc

If a player cannot accept our invitation because he has 'blown' in the second division then he does not deserve us

You have not even attempted to consider the substance of my comments. The questions that are raised.

You then conclude with the proposition based on NOTHING beyond emotive sentiment and irrationality.

most Igbo names are gender neutral.

Emenike is bearing Chinenye, a traditionally female name, but it's also gender neutral.

My people, It is with a heavy heart that I write you this epistle.

A few days ago I made a controversial comment about a certain Golden Eaglets player. A comment which I later realized was in bad taste. Although I immediately explained myself and published my unreserved apologies to all and sundry on this thread, some of us took it upon themselves to report me to the authorities, causing me to be incarcerated for four days and four nights in the dark bitter dungeons of Nairaland's prison.

After all my explanations and pleadings....

Did england seek his consent before giving him that invite, knowing fully well that he once trained with us. You seek consent when the said player has played a competitive game or if it's ur first move. U don't seek the consent of a player that has trained with u, whose profile on every reputable website reads Nigerian, before giving him an invite.

I think there is so much sense with your points...even though I took a contrary view.

So keshi the hated local champion called Balogun directly as the boss himself, while our white god sent an assistant unofficially to toast Eze mama. Hope u can see the difference between the two scenarios? If he had called eze directly the way keshi did, u think things woudda bn this complicated? Ok, u no call eze directly, so why not mandate ur assistant to meet eze directly? instead na d mama u send am make him go toast. Rohr isnt serious at all

Well, several of them sound Dutch to me at least judging by the ones I have watched at the WC so far. I don't know much about their bench. But what exactly is the point of asking about the Dutch nationality diversity? It is normal to see a Dutch team having a diverse group. I remember 2005 vividly with Owusu Abeyie, Ibrahim Afellay and a few more.

Joebie:
According to fifa.com, "13 of the players have foreign roots or are born outside the country"

modified
"The Netherlands also arrive in confident mood after retaining their European title this year. Boasting a squad with a large contingent born outside the country, the Europeans will be hoping that the mix can help them improve on their previous best finish of third in 2005.

Despite not having a particularly good continental championship, Brazil have been preparing well in recent months. That coupled with the arrival of some new faces has the home fans dreaming of a fourth world title in this category."
