Ndidi ,in my opinion can't improve beyond his natural ability...dont expect him to all of a sudden start spraying passes like a modern DM. If my memory served me right the boy had played in the defense originally. And if Awaziem can play in CD Ndidi can definitely play there.
Talk like this dey weak person.

In French Ligue 1

Henry Onyekuru starts for Monaco vs Metz

Moses Simon "without question" starts for Nantes vs Nimes.

Josh Maja starts for Bordeaux vs Angers.

Samuel Kalu on the bench for Bordeaux.
Goal's Analysis on our French Quartet is precise. Kalu needs to step up. All of them need to double or triple up. After Qatar, i dont expect any of them to still be in the Ligue 1.

He played 25 minutes, yet completed more dribbles than any other CSKA player.

You are hyping him!
This dude is no upgrade nor anywhere better than Ola Aina not to talk of Jamilu Collins. Yes, he has the engine to run back and forth down the flank but his defensive positioning is not top notch.

I absolutely disagree..

He is the best offensive full back, we have at the moment. Definitely an upgrade on Jamilu.

His defending sometimes can be a weakness.

Nigeria version of Alphonso Davies
He just need to improve his crossing
An attacking football like Alonso but need to forget his defensive duty

Sanusi at LB ...Kingsley at RB. ... Kalu ,Osimehn and Samu as front 3. A midfield of Ndidi, Aribo and Iwobi. The bench sef go strong.... I still insist, NFF should carry us go Accra ...we wan play friendly match. By fire by force.

Is he faster than Kingsley? would be sweet to have both at FB . I just hope their crossings are good.

I've seen his clips and I feel so too. Maybe playing him with Kalu and Moses Simon would be better because those two put a lot of defensive shift

That would make sense...
But how good is Zaidu offensively?
His crossing in particular?

If we decide to make our wingers do more defensive duties just to complement the full backs, then our attack from wings will be limited..
We saw that at the AFCON when Simon constantly had to track back to defend...

Zaidu is most likely Nigeria's best crosser of the ball in Europe.

He is known in Portugal for his Crossing/ability to pick out teammates with his crosses/passes, his speed and his power.

At the beginning of last season, he did struggle defensively but he gradually improved towards to the Season's end in the Post-Covid season wrap-up.

His Crossing is one of his finest strengths. He will only get better in that.

Yes, he is very attack-minded and even played at LW sometimes when his team's Left Winger was out on the sidelines. His deputy at LB filled in for him in that period at LB while he played LW. But when the main LW returned, the Clara coach swiftly returned Zaidu to his LB spot and the lad continued from where he stopped.

I am hyping him? Hahahahahahaha

Zaidu got a sweet left foot when crossing the ball, Zaidu is super fast (as fast as Alphonso Davies if not faster even), Zaidu can attack/overlap and recover due to his crazy speed, Zaidu can join the attack and go give our LW an option to play off on when in transition or when building an attacking move wingwards, Zaidu also got great leaps for aerial balls. He smashed a powerful header past Benfica in a league match.

Zaidu is an upgrade. His only archilles' heel for now which he is still working on and showed some improvement on towards the end of 2019/20 is his defending. But the lad's speedy recovery helps him snuff out dangers quickly.

Zaidu will improve defensively. Afterall, even Davies struggled defensively when he began at Bayern but his speed and Bayern's experienced backline especially Alaba covered for him when he made a few errors that could have cost them. With time, Davies grew into the role and became more confident and boom we have on our hands one of the most talked about LBs in world football.

Now get this in... Zaidu is just as fast as Alphonso. And both also boast raw power. That should tell you something.

he's very fast instincts are always to attack. Goodjoe will love him since he is always harping on how the SE should play more on the front foot i think Zaidu offers that. he needs to work on the quality of his crosses from the videos i saw of him on YouTube. i think he would flourish well in a 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 setup as a LWB.

from an attacking stand point he looks an upgrade on Collins but don't know how good he's defensively. would need to watch him in action before coming to a comprehensive conclusion on him.

here's a nice interview by the way he had with Mowiz of owngoal nigeria. Wish Sanusi all the best
