Karlovich:
I don't agree with you, our lone strikers were isolated throughout the game, and our wingers that were meant to support the attack were useless, having two strikers would have helped if one of them can drop into the midfield to assist with pushing attack

That is iheanacho's best position and that is why we still need him. Iheanacho will be good as a supporting striker or pseudo midfielder

Abeg ebuehi was good

He wasn't. Benrhama fried his balls on several occasions, turning him inside out. Dude couldn't make no incursions, the few times he was on the ball in the opposition half, he looked clueless and out of sorts hence misplacing passes and giving poor crosses. Ebuehi was poor today.

Rohr is just an average coach at best. He lacks a lot of qualities and it was so glaring today. He only knows how to recruit players but doesn't know how to use them.
I honestly expected him to have improved .

Onuachu is a scam. He only came to embarrassed himself more. Very slow and he can't press. Who says he can hold up play . Always afraid to do so.

Chukwuweze is not only an average player but he lacks common intelligence. He's soo predictable. Always trying to dribble even though he's facing thousands of opponents Why not be unpredictable for once. Anytime he's with the ball his marker knows what's he's going to do. Such an annoying one-way player.

Semi Ajayi is not a midfielder. He put every foot wrong. He was crap!

Onyeka is nothing. A disappointment. He was no where to be found.

Ekong doesn't deserve to be assistant captain. I've never seen such a flop wearing a captain band in my life. I'm sure he felt the embarrassment.

Ebuehi is good.

Balogun still has it.

Agu is below average.

Akpo hmmmm seems like a ridiculously overrated player. But I won't conclude yet. Need to see him again.

Onuachu staying too long on the pitch gave us no hope of equalizing.

Iwobi is a baller.

If we love this team, we should wish the team not qualifying for the next afcon so rohr can go but if we qualify, expect to be more angry with this team

CornOak:

Points to note:

1. The team last played 11 months ago
2. Had training for 3 days before match
3. Several new players
4. Match was a test game with less emphasis on result (highlighted by the coach)
5. Our key players were missing

These points led to:

6. Low team cohesion, communication, and spirit
7. Exposed unwanted players
8. Identified our weak areas ( midfield and set pieces issue which hasn't been solved yet)

Well, the points above are no excuses for the shambolic display. However, we should note that today's match was fairly okay considering these factors. By the way, both teams were not impressive either.

Lastly, the technical crew still has a lot of work to do to bring the team back to order. So I agree with your point about Rohr. cool

PS: Tunisia beat Sudan 3-0 today. lipsrsealed

He can do a 4-3-1-2....the wingers cant cross....ditch dem and let the full backs do the running on the wings while the spare midfielder cover up for any overlapping full back

This has long been an established fact even though the latter is having a better club career

Balogun is pure gold. I don't care if he sits on the bench all year round at his club, I'd start him every single time.

Ekong needs a replacement ASAP. Footwork was already average, it's now getting terrible.

Zaidu has potential. One for the future.

Ebuehi is good. Maybe still a needs more playing time to return to his usual blazing hot form but the positive signs are there.

Onyeka was anonymous.

Ajayi too.

Chukwueze is overhyped.

Samuel Kalu too.

Onuachu should quit football and open a furniture shop at Ariaria market Aba. Too tall to have sense. Should never be seen near a GWG shirt again.

Iwobi is our only creative player. Needs more consistency though.

Simon Moses is more reliable than Chukwueze and Kalu.

Iheanacho has potential from set pieces. I prefer him to Onuachu. Needs to work on his weight too.

Rohr is just an NPFL coach in white skin.

Not impressed with Akpoguma. He was slow and clumsy but then too early to judge.

Balogun, Zaidu, Ebuehi, Okoye played well

Bye bye to Onuachu

We could not cope with Algeria with a 3 man midfield and you want to reduce them to 2?
Semi isn't a midfielder and the other smaller guy that started alongside him was crap in the game, a more robust midfield combination would have helped out in this game with iwobi supporting the attack

Guys please calm da fukk down, Abeg. This just a freaking friendly game. These guys haven’t played together in almost a year. In addition, we’re missing almost half of our starting eleven, so I don’t know what da feck some of y’all were expecting.

On current form, Algeria is the best team in Africa so I think the boys gave a good account of themselves considering that we were missing our best players.

My Opinion
Zaidu and Okoye impressed me.
Balogun, Ebeuhi are very solid.
Paul, Agu should never be invited again
I will like Tijani to start next game, his few minu6shows potential.
Eze and Kali are very disappointing, Iwobi was good but also stranded. Again Paul should never come near the camp.
Set piece is really a problem for the team.

Overall, both team played rubbish but thumbs up to sanusi and Okoye
