Any misdeed on his part other than derailing the thread?? Àkàmù simply means pap if I'm right, bro

You're just pretending.
That was a pure sexual innuendo and you know it. . No debate there.

It's very offensive.

please it will make more sense and tell on our personality here...if we jettison such immoral and loosed talks and focus on only football....

myself..I hate when conversations sometimes portray women as sex objects..

I don't think so. It's better we address the issue now so as to avoid future repeats.

And a good laugh once in a while does no harm!

It will not stop as far as Nairaland is concerned, another random monicker will repeat it in the next blue moon. Sad but true.

We should not dedicate a whole page to discuss their crude Character. With that said, I will advice we ignore. Even Sefarigirl has done that.

that article/interview is thick!

It makes me wonder if we've(our coaches) gotten to that level of football. Football is more of science today!

I dunno you are thinking in that way too... Kind asking are they doing this in our national team and local leagues

I kept thinking are they having sleepless night cos of training and getting formations right

This is pure hard work and great thinking with ability to try new things

so you were never aware of hogson desire to get him into the under 21 team in the last minute...a Greek gift he (iwobi) turned down and many English football analyst continue to blame the FA and cadet team coaches who never gave him a call up...as he progressed

Firstly, when it comes to England U21 selection the senior team manager has almost zero input.

There is a team of selectors, I know a couple of them and it's from them the first recommendations come from.

There are occasions when you have the odd teenage player who is so outstanding in the league. That they circumvent all that youth football and straight to the senior national team.

You will find that youth progression is dependent on performances at the different youth levels. Iwobi never ever excelled at any youth level for England. So all of a sudden Hodgeson will wake up and call him.

I am trying to educate you on the modalities and processes that characterise selection here in England. That way you and other fans will not talk without substance.

He will probably get more game time in Greece but it seems like a backward move to me just in terms of the quality of the leagues. If he plays in Benfica, it will be better for him.

Considering the Benfica business model and thier penchant for the deal over the football. I am cautious, I am not privy to the pre contract negotiations so its difficult to comment.

I do know Norwich and I know he would get play time under the proviso he performs and adapts to the team philosophy and vision.

Wish him well.

Footballers are made and some times destroyed on these very pivotal career changing decisions.

I still think if he can force himself into the first team then he is on his way. His pace will give him the extra edge in my opinion particularly in the Portuguese league not too many speedsters there.

we are talking of intelligence here...not just assembling players to go play football but tailoring their mind in line wit team tactics and strategies....

sometimes this are some of the reason why many European big clubs and coaches don't really buy into Africa players....few will definetely understand these concepts coupled wit the fact that many never had the opportunity for football education like in European academics.....

football is now a science....I doubt if many Africa coaches know this....especially here in Nigeria...it is pure intelligence and nothing else...I once watched an interview of the then warri wolves coach...when asked if he do sometimes watch the foreign leagues and which club does he support as a fan in Europe...to my amazement he replied he is not a fan of any team and he does not watch European football....
I was so surprised....how will he learn the rudiments of modern day football...how will learn the science of the game...most of the caf coaches refreshers course are often stale and lack bites...

this manager I think is now one of the cadet team coaches in Nigeria....just to tell you what to expect....

to be honest with...letting that guy go..some of them in Leicester board know It will be pure suicidal...

they know his worth...but it is painful to see a player of his calibre one never get to watch reason because of his wrong moves...

this should be a lesson to many up coming young players...need to study teams prior signing...

if the NTA deal cnt give us 5 matches per match day then it's a poor and bad decision. the fact that the NTA coverage of football Is always poor x a reason to leave the coverage to supersport.

the only plus is that the coverage will reach those who can get NTA signal irrespective of wether they v decoders or not. otherwise the TV deal should v stayed with Supersport
