This quote from our own Baba Onigbinde in white flesh has left me demoralized and terribly angry this night. What excuse does a coach have to habitually downgrade his team's chances before every single competition even when we are clearly not worse than the other teams?.

Rohr's pre tourney statements have always shown a marked lethargy, resignation, and lack of hunger for achievement. For him, it is enough that his " young team" has qualified for the tourney. Every other thing is na jara.

The worst part is I'm afraid he has infected our players with his legbere unambitious mentality. One only has to look at the games we played before and during the WC to see proof of this. Apart from the fluke against Argentina in the friendly and Musa's twin moments of brilliance against Iceland, what else can we look back on?. Is it the shambolic midfield or the open-post-missing Ighalo or the perpetually anonymous Iheanacho?. BIG SHAME!.

Now the same pattern is repeating himself. Very soon Rohr may be losing to Burundi and giving us his usual "my team is young and inexperienced" nonsense....

Wallahi, Rohr matter tire me. Big time!.

the man is a coward....

we all know him.... how he even downplayed the super eagles chances prior the last world cup
he is always looking for a safe landing.
little wonder he has never won a single trophy since he has been a coach

Which kind of talk is this?

In that game, Mikel was in position and Onazi was not in his position. Mikel was punished for refusing to clean Onazi's mess. Mikel even pointed the spot to Onazi that he should be there.

So I wonder why you are changing story.

How many times have you heard we were punished because Mikel abandoned his role but it has happened repeatedly to Onazi.

Onazi is positionally deficient and can never be compared to Mikel in that aspect.

Then why has Mikel been the only one benched because of that?

For a guy named humility this comment is funny sha.

Name a successful manager that goes into tournaments saying his team will win it? Football is played on the pitch not the media.

There is no speculation here. The only reason, Kelechi can't travel is that something is missing in his documentation.. He should have known this and either set things right before he came or not come at all if it will take a long time. All other professionals that came for the game are back at their base.

It is simply unacceptable.

I may be wrong but if his club TRULY VALUED him one phone call to the rigjt person and all this bureaucratic delay will end it 10 minutes.

There is more to this story than meets the eye.

Osimhen who was deemed not physically fit at Wolfsburg and Club Brugge now plays virtually every minute for Charleroi. Irony cheesy

He is not really an important player in Porto B and the club warned him before he left.

He has therefore an over inflated impression of himself. And he has one person to blame himself.

As for honouring the invitation for Nigeria he us a player in need of a very desperate boost. And that's what playing for Nigeria will hopefully do for him. Because he is anonymous in club football.

Look at the stupid position he has found himself. He may end up without a club remember he is on loan and now after this delay Porto can discard him.

For sure he can not return to Arsenal he is just a business transaction he us not a potential Arsenal player.

He is now in desperate Limbo.

But left to me.....I would rate the EPL much more once england wins a major trophy....

England has the best league among the top 5 leagues in Europe, but are the least most successful country among those 5....

In order words....if Spanish clubs had the money and infrastructure that English clubs had....they will be much better than the EPL, same for the other leagues

Osimhens main problem at Wolfsburg was Divock Origi. The loan agreement between Liverpool and wolfsburg was Originally to play 90% of the games as long as he is fit. Liverpool were bearing 80% of Origis wages. Osimhen was scoring a lot of goals in training. The new coach confirmed that but was hampered by the Liverpool agreement.

Not trying to belittle Amuneke here, but it might b possible that Uganda deliberately lost that game to Tanzania... they had already qualified and there was no harm helping their fellow east Africans qualify too..
Amuneke has tried with that average Tanzania team, but let's see how well they will perform at d AFCON first.

This I may not argue with. However they still had to pass the ball around and put it into the back of the net and they did that three times. Considering the players at his disposal I think he has done extremely well, Amuneke that is. So someone saying that because he lost to Lesotho over two years ago he should never be considered for the SE job is not fair IMHO

That's why EPL is most interesting and most unpredictable league in the world. Unlike, the two horse race league in La Liga and the one horse race leagues in Bundesliga, ligue 1 anf Seria A. Very predictable and boring leagues.

EPL is the only league that has more than 3 teams that have won the UEFA champions League.

Sorry which team is the 4th team in the present EPL?

He was not injured persistently that's misinformation he was injured for a short time when he first arrived at Wolfsburg for a few months.

Bundesliga is a far higher league than the Belguim league, but he could not deliver, could not meet the required standard for the Bundesliga and or Wolfsburg, essentially he was not good enough.

He goes to club Brugge one of the best if not best team in the Belguim league. However, again a lower club and lower league but much higher in pedigree and quality than Charleroi.

So now that he is in a lower league and club he is playing and doing well at this much lower level. He may have improved but improved enough to compete in the Bundesliga or higher league is open to debate.

So what's the IRONY ❓

Samson Siasia Stadium...good but not much capacity...
The pitch is my main concern, I've seen the stadium not much capacity below 10k but the surface is good for football.

I enjoyed when they played the AITEO Woman cup finals there unlike when the men played at Asaba that the pitch (grass) wasn't trimmed

Does that change the fact on ground? Juventus also went on relegation but it doesn't change the fact that they were former UEFA champions. Does it?

What mistake did he make ?

Someone that has been successful in England so how did he make a mistake ?

As far as David Luiz is in England he would be seen as a bad defender because his strength do not match the strength of the league

Most of the money Guardiola spent is on defenders like Mendy, Walker, Laporte and Stones. Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus are two offensive buys which were not exorbitant. So how do you expect him not to rely on players in his squad.

Bayern won the treble but Guardiola achieved things in Bayern that were not achieved before. Broke records at the club and is the best manager in the history of the club with respect to the Bundesliga.

Please, City have played nowhere close to what we are playing under Guardiola.

Genius.
