Please, serious advice needed. I was delayed earlier on the basis of not having insufficient funds to cater for my tuition and living expenses. I used my uncle's bank statement which had a little more than enough and an affidavit. For my second try.. I am using the statement of my mum, her investment papers, lands of property and affidavit. I am also adding my new sponsor's statement of more than enough (he's my Uncle), his business licenses and affidavit, biographical page of his passport thou he and my mum have different sir names and an impressive letter of sponsorship. Is there anything else you think I shld add to these documents? Response needed asap. Thank you. |

Hello house, I submitted my paper application for pdg at Niagara college on 25th of May and did my biometrics immediately, I didn't get any acknowledgment text or email from vfs and when I checked my application status through their website I got "Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office, ACCRA on 25/05/2016.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website", is there anyway way I can know the real status of this application because I am seriously waiting for medicals email and I want to be sure they haven't been sending emails to a different address from the one on my application O and this is the 7th week after submission O ............ |

Could you please help with tips on how to prepare a decent 'statement of research intent'? I wouldn't mind if you could share yours with me. e-mail: almubby@gmail.com. Thanks in advance! |

bosypumpin: Hello @bosypumpin, I actually got to know those facts by going through the threads. You can check from part 1 to this part. I mentioned that approval mail drops on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I am sure the ladies got their mail today (Wednesday). If there is anyone who got a medical call or a refusal, it must have been on a Monday or Friday, rarely Thursday's. You can calculate it using the @rheginarh and @aishate Success stories . Check the dates on a calendar. Thanks Congrats to the new TRV holders 3 Likes |

I got a mail from CIC yesterday...it was a refusal. The VO handling my file must have been high on some very cheap substance cause he said I had insufficient funds and my travel history. Anyways that's his/her opinion and he/she is entitled to it. A BIG thank you to thesoj and khalesi for your time in guiding me through the application process. I have no intention of reapplying guys so there is NO NEED to throw a pity party or shell out words of wisdom. I wish all those still expectant of TRV the best in their application. Have a great day. I'm out!!! 4 Likes |

Good morning House, Please who knows abt the rating of Memorial University of Newfoundland. I've read very terrible ratings on d internet on HW the profs. are nt friendly n helpful, and poorly its certificate is rated in Canada. However, the pull i hv towards the sch is its "ridiculously" very low tuition. Newfoundland is also terribly cold, for this reason I dnt seem to care much. Pls, seniors in Canada, is MUN a gd choice? pls good people, help |

sleekytee:Goodmorning house! Before you start rising PGC/PGD applicants HBP, first who was ur sponsor? Because @Jayne07 that got refused also paid her school fees first semester/part if i recalled well. Her sponsor as she narrated was a family friend which she aslo presented it in that manner to the VO.to me,the VO doesn't find such sponsor to be credible in their eyes to make such huge financial commitment without you getting stranded in canada/abandoning ur studies to work for money in which some factors might also be considered by the VO on the Sponsor's dependants/family too which will also dwell in same acct statement presented for their living in Nigeria and other incured/miscellaneous expenses. moreover if a sponsor is not ur parents/husband/ sister/bother/employer who stands to gain from ur study with a study leave letter attached to show a bond with same employer, then sufficient/convincing proof is needed not just narration. Waiting to hear who ur sponsor was?also is the closing balance 15m or just the credit balance? 1 Like |
