Thankful1970:
You are on Point. Also the rule "Give way to traffic on your left" only applies at a roundabout of a cross of EQUAL magnitude. In the above case study, we have a T-junction. Priority is given to the car on a straight course first (i.e. 2) followed by the car that is exiting the major drive (3) and lastly by the car that wants to enter the major road (2).

At a cross road, the rule is first come, first go.. grin

At a roundabout.. The vehicle on the round about has right of way (a.k.a the car on your left)

At a T-junction.. The vehicle intersecting the T has the least right of way.

Op 1-2-3 sef no bad but wait u no tell us if it's in naija or abroad.. If it's in naija he no matter it can be 3-1-2 or 3-2-1 but if it's abroad the traffic will sort it out for us.

Very interesting, it's 2-3-1 cos the inverted triangle sign in the 1's domain means 'yield' which implies that whenever there z traffic on the perpendicular road, he automatically becomes the last user. Then, the 2nd car is the first in order of priority cos he oughta maintain a straight uninterrupted drive while de #3 car who tends to resist d flow waits.

Except say him gt conne! Lmfao

Nigeria being a left hand driving country, the says:

1) give way to traffic on the left
2) Always keep right.

Using this formula the order should be 2-1-3

Let me see what the driving Experts have to say

It's 2-3-1 as 2 has the right of way followed by 3. Their is a red sign in front of 1 which means Yield! It means let other road users go first. A yield sign assigns the right-of-way to traffic in certain intersections. If you see a yield sign ahead, be prepared to let other drivers crossing your road take the right-of-way. And don't forget about bicycles and pedestrians!

Seen lots of people miss interpreting a rounder about for this sign. If it was at a round about then vehicle coming from the right has right of way (UK Road users or right hand driving countries only) so I guess in Nigeria it should be the opposite way.

Correct way is 2-3-1 thanks.

So what do you do about the 'Yeild' sign in front of Car number 1? grin grin grin

Na your type dey pull shirt when accident happen.. grin

Car number 1 has the least right of way just because of that yeild sign alone.

Many 2-1-3 advocates dont know what that sign means.. grin

And you wonder why at an accident scene, most Nigerians are ready to fight. grin

FRSC comman comment please. I didn't go to driving school but common sense tells me that 2 should go first since its not turning and probably won't be slowing down followed by 2 being traffic on the left and 3 last. I'ld appreciate a definite answer with supporting documents.

But the moment you ignore the 'YEILD' sign in front of Car number 1, you are fully responsible for the accident.

Give way to vehicles on the left only applies at traffic circles a.k.a round-about.
