Who said the aren't free to worship?
Firefire:

Interfering in religious practice is tantamount to abusing the constitutional right of freedom of association and religion.

"38. (1) Every person shall be entitled to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, including freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom (either alone or in community with others, and in public or in private) to manifest and propagate his religion or belief in worship, teaching, practice and observance".

El Rufai should carry go and pass on the Bill. We have freedom of worship but not freedom to disturb others. Enough is enough, enough of religious craziness, no Mosque/Church should be allowed to use speaker again and the religious hawking should also be stopped. A good Muslim must be time conscious to observe Salat and same as a good Christian. We must stop disturbing our society all the name of religion.

The constitution is clear self.

where your freedom affects the rights of others, you to be put in check.

So the freedom of religion does not cover you inciting violence against others.

The bill should come to stay.

The gov is only playing his part of the script...whatever they do, the name of Jesus will be heard in the land. I am only saddened with my Christians brothers who are not seeing the grand plan. The global jihad war is being subtly fought and we are sleeping as believers. This is the time we all must rise and fight any against the enemy of the gospel...The greatest commission Christ gave to us is to go out and preach the gospel of Jesus. But here is someone that is trying to put a restraint...El Rufai will soon carry his Bible and preach the gospel of Jesus on the street of Kaduna.

Looking at the bill, none of it's sections passed or escaped the 1999 constitution and the other enacts. Set of gullible people drafting Edict without any recourse to the legal practitioners.

this country is finished. our youth have been reduced to the trelises of cave men with the white mans tool. this christianity is practiced in Egypt and Rome. yet which of these countries can you stand up in a plane or public bus and start preaching? yet ours is the case of the most deplorable and corrupt nation ever to cumber this green planet. stand up people! your pastors are flying private jets. have you eaten today? my brother can you fuel your car? John 16:2 KJV

"They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service."

The church will be fought by Christians themselves unawares. When you look at the staggering number of self-acclaimed Christians who see nothing wrong with enforcing restrictions on Christian worship activities, my opening statement will resonate dread in your spirit.

The aim of this nonsense is to ban Christians from evangelizing. Had it been Muslims were told to "go into the world and preach the gospel", hell-rufai wouldn't have raised this bill.

Hell-rufai is a devil incarnate who is bound to perish on earth and in hell.

I dont know why some pple cant reason well. We d ppl of Kaduna state are in strong support of our governor. If u cant liv with it, Nigeria is big u can relocate to a different state.

Which part of kaduna are in support or which religion is in support? Islam is against the bill as it will hinder them from calling their prayers and the christians are also not in support. so pls enlighten me.
Re: Catholic Church Cautions El-Rufai Over Religious Bill by mymoneygrows(f): 1:28pm On Apr 03, 2016
Part of the bill states that a church or pastor must be licensed before they can operate.
How will an islamic govt decide which church or pastor to operate? if d license will be gotten by money, how much? does that mean churches who cant afford d amount should close down.

The bill also states that a govt representative will monitor d licensed churches or mosque which indirectly means dat govt is trying to control d all religious activities. Why it bothers us the christians is that the implementation of this bill may be one sided as a lot of the muslims are saying if u dont lyk it, then leave forgeting that almost 50% of kaduna indigenes are christians.

I wish the governor will adhered to your opinion of not using loud speaker only, no one will go against his bill but his intention is for every Pastor/imam to obtain license b4 preaching in the state.
And he is speaking like one god. What will happen when GOD decide to ask every humans to obtain license b4 breathing or worship him, who will be on the earth planet. The state and the country at large is faced will numerous problem, why having concern for issues that will not solve such problems. We need development, then all other things will run as normal.

Gross inhumane, immoral, unethical, neighborhood irritating noise pollution nuisance, irresponsible, selfish, inconsiderate, uncivilized behaviors in the name of God worship must come to an abrupt end by all means necessary NATIONWIDE. And anyone thats deems such noise pollution okay or endorses it is evil.

Where in your bible or koran is it written that noise pollution or lunacy is a requirement for God/ Allah worship. All Ye deaf God/ Allah worshippers can go hang or flush yourselves down the toilet.

On this issue El Rufai, you are annointed. Ye carry go gov.

Kaduna state Preaching Bill . According to El-Rufai, a Muslim preacher should approach Jamaatu Nasrul Islam (JNI) and tender his credentials for verification before the lslamic body will deem him fit to preach Islam in the state. If he is qualified, JNI will issue him a preaching licence. A Christian preacher should also approach Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and present his credentials for verification. If CAN considered him qualified to preach Christianity ,the Christian body will issue him license to preach in Kaduna State. Kaduna state on its own will not license preachers. What is wrong in making sure that those that preach the gospels are qualified to do so? The Governor cited examples of a dangerous lslamic sect that is growing in Makarfi LG and a woman that claimed to receive instructions from Prophet Mohammed to preach the Qur'an. She is already spreading hate messages and getting followers. When interviewed by security agents, the same woman could not even recite surat Fatiha! This portends danger to Kaduna state and its people. In his interview with BBC, the governor was clearly more concerned with emerging Islamic extremist groups than Christian preachers. Kaduna had the worst violent religious history than any state in the country, except Boko Haram that came recently and set the entire North East on fire. The army/shia fracas was a clarion call that reinforces the need for the governor to take action. People are free to say wherever they wish to say,the governor expected negative and positive reactions on the new religious law. Religion has always been a thorny and sensitive issue in Nigeria. If you catch a thief he will say it was because of his religion that you arrested him. That is how bad it is. ~ Aliyu Credit: Abdul Rasak Umoru.

interfering how now? So the govt giving permit before a church can be built isn't interference right? or a man parking his car front of mosques or church and blast preaching of his religion will be okay right? Nigerian constitution is not hyperbolic.

Everyone has the right to drive, but must obtain a driver's license. Everyone has the rights to own a school or build religious structures but must obtain permits before doing such... in all this the individual's rights are being regulated. In most secular nations preaching in public is heavily regulated. ... but if people feel you have a case sue the govt instead of these sly attempts at weeping divisive sentiments.
