– El Rufai makes clarifications on content of religious bill
– Challenges apostle who predicted his death to tell him the day that he would die

Governor Nasir El Rufai of Kaduna state has dared the prophet who said that he would die if he fails to stop the proposed religious bill in the state.
A few weeks ago, Apostle Johnson Suleman had in a broadcast, asked the Kaduna governor to reverse the proposed bill or he (the governor) would die, but the governor refused to listen to any of the prophet’s rantings about him and the proposed bill.

In an exclusive interview with The Punch, El Rufai has now asked the prophet to mention the date that if he would die if he were truly an apostle of God, arguing that the law does not infringe on the rights of any Nigerian to freedom of worship.
He said: “I have not seen anyone talking about Islam actually. Most of the people that say I would die, as if I would not die, are people who call themselves Christian clergy. Of course, I will die. If that apostle is truly an apostle, he should mention the day I will die.

“There is nothing in that law that prevents or infringes the practice of religion. It seeks to ensure that those that preach religion are qualified, trained and certified by their peers to do it. And some sections of the media have made it as if the law was drafted against Christianity.

“It is most irresponsible and I have nothing to say except to leave the matter to God.”
In a related development, Dr Chris Okafor, another popular Nigerian cleric, told the governor he has about eight more days (today is the last) to retract his impending Religious Bill or face the wrath of God.
Speaking at his Liberation City Church headquarters on Sunday, March 20, the clergyman read out the details of the proposed bill from a mobile phone before screaming: “El Rufai, Herod, leave the church alone!”
The pastor stated that the bill is potentially anti-christian and warned that El Rufai was only being used to test run something that would later become a bigger plan to Islamize Nigeria.

the plot thickens...

Now this is the part that actually puts Christianity as it is today to the test. We all know that bill is malicious, proposed in bad faith.

If Elijah were to be alive today, I have no doubt he'll truly give this governor a date - any date - and God'll stand by that date.

But as for the men of God of today, they have no such faith. They're the reason why so many are becoming atheists nowadays...
