BARING any last minutes change of mind, a detailed clean copy of the 2016 budget will be ready tomorrow for inward transmission to the presidency for assent. Recall that the presidency last week said that the passed budget will not be assented to by President Muhammadu Buhari because the passed budget did not contain the details. But reacting to that, Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Rep Abdulmumuni Jibrin said that some previous administrations in the country especially former President Olusagun Obasanjo during his time signed the budget without the details which was made available two weeks latter. Rep Abdulmumuni Jibrin said that some previous administrations in the country especially former President Olusagun Obasanjo during his time signed the budget without the details which was made available two weeks latter. They could because Nigeria was virtually a one party state & every affair of the country was reduced to intra party affairs.. To produce the clean copy for the onward transmission to the president Meaning?? clean copy?? is there a dirty sordid one? We most likely have not heard the last of the padding drama, more bombshell about to be dropped!!  |

We shall crack kola, give libations, slaughtered a ram, 20 fowl and 2 goats, have a Thanksgiving Service on Channels TV with Wizkid, Davido, Mavins, Phyno and Flavour all performing when this budget is finally passed. All six feet four inches and 215 pounds of me will proceed to shoki, azonto, skelewu, atligwu, dab, crip walk and Bankhead Bounce in happiness. This needs to end. |
