Eguaikide:minister fit submmit budget. but d only channel to summit budget or supplementary budget is through d floor of both senate n house, not senate committee. ameachi sneaked his supplementary budget through senate commitee instead of d floor of senate. him no even send supplementary copy to house of reps, hence d confusion. dis case na simple case of lack of due process by trial n error buari govt. 1 Like |

It is not surprising that these Senators can't even be on the same page. How will they when some sleep and doze through plenary or committee meetings, while some are busy calculating their allowances and how they will steal from our commonwealth without really focusing on issues that will better the lives of Nigerians. Some don't even attend sessions, so how will they know what was in the budget or not, or what was amended. What a shame. 2 Likes |

sanandreas: They are not functioning because u lot don't patronise it for reasons best known to u chief among is harassment from locals which explains why u lot will always prefer Lagos because locals have made it very conducive. Come clear ur goods at ph, very few still do. facilities are very much ok but as u leave allege militants pounce on u. U are the ones doing ursef, no one else. Local seaports are not yet congested yet u are demanding for more. Nonsense. 1 Like |

PassingShot: Oh so you know this? But you were quick to insult ALL SS/SE senators. Most of whom might not have been members of any of the relevant committees and so unaware of what has transpired. Even as Ashafa mentioned that he's unaware of the removal and stated that he'd have waited till Tuesday when plenary commences before making comments but for the importance of the issue. Without sparing a word of caution or admonition for whoever might have removed it you've run to attack people who haven't even been mentioned in the issue. Now ask yourself what's really driving you? Perhaps it's your hatred for the SS/SE? 2 Likes 1 Share |

bendovex: This is very simple. No need to curse. The budget had not been approved when Amaechi brought the additional expenses . So whats the big deal? The senators are just making a hill out of a mole. If there was a cordial relationship between them we wouldnt be hearing all this. All they want is a bargaining hold on the Executive 2 Likes |

sanandreas: bro, ibaka seaport is not necessary, the question you should be asking is why are the ports under used. The 2nd naija bridge is already captured in the budget. The northern senators are working more projects for their regions while our own are busy playing politics with projects that will benefit our side. it's high time some of us separate partisanship from what will benefit us all 5 Likes 2 Shares |

PassingShot: Very disgusting! You're currently at the apex of tribal bigotry! Who doesn't see beyond this nonsense you're typing here? You're only concerned because it will affect your region, else, you'd have been happy it was removed (if ever it was there in the first place). The way these APC zombies exclude their own senators from SW shows how bigoted and demonic they are. The bolded sums up the assertion of how bigoted and tribalistic you are and if ever SE/SS senators are cursed then I think SW senators are also cursed.. #spits! 1 Like |

henryhemon:All these dolts like this one here, quoting me out of context and trying to sound intelligent when in reality they are plain silly. I got questions for you poppycocks. Is it the place of the minister to present the budget to NASS on the same day of his budget defense? and is the NASS constitutionally obligated to accept such documents from a minister? I understand some fools here are so foolish that they always want to say something, even though they have nothing meaningful to say. it's such a shame. |

Dannie2015:Thanks for that intelligent observation. Right from onset the FG did not include this Lagos-Calabar rail line in the main budget, and they want us to take them serious? why on earth would the minister of transportation go to the budget defense with a separate document containing that particular project? it doesn't just add up. the whole thing sounds fishy. and to think that some silly people here still buy this lie? 54bn lying fallow? NASS are nothing but suckers of blood. This 54bn was what was originally allocated to the rail project as was Kano. During the budget missing era, they played with it and removed that project and failed to assign the funds somewhere else. Cant you see the fools are fooling you. |
