The Legislator representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency and Initiator of the “Omo Oloore” brand, Hon. Adedapo Lam-Adesina has dazzled his constituents with massive empowerment in justification of his representative function in the 8th National Assembly. [img]http://i.onthe.io/vllkyt4top4sclg8g.bad3052a.jpg[/img] Cross section of some of the items that were given out Tagged “Omo Oloore Empowerment Scheme 2016”, the epoch making event was held on Thursday, April 7, at the Command Day Primary School Field Iwo Road, Ibadan where start up Professional Equipment like Sewing Machines, Grinding Machines, Bajaj Tricycles and Motorcycles worth N30 Million were given to his constituents. The First phase of the Scheme with emphasis on Entrepreneurship commenced months ago with rigorous in- house training at the Honourable Members’ two constituency offices and practical sessions at designated offices of trainers from the Nigerian Union of Tailors (NUT), National Society of Professional Tailors (NSPT), Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Riders and Owners Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and Pepper and Corn Millers Grinding Association (PCMGA). Dapo Lam-Adesina addressing the crowd Bikes and Sewing Machines about to be given out Beneficiaries who were widely selected across the constituency from youth organizations, Community Development Council (CDC), religious and community leaders, Political Parties, pressure groups, trade unions and personally screened by the Federal Legislator to confirm their eligibility as bona-fide constituents all showered encomiums on “Omo Oloore” describing him as a trail blazer and a role model other public office holders should emulate. Adesina in separate remarks on his distinct approach to tackling the menace of unemployment in our society, promising to play supervisory roles in monitoring the performance growth of the beneficiaries.
