This is the issue my Bro, I myself work at Yes Mobile Phones and Accessories (formally Slot). The thing is that no one is actually perfect, I note that they gave you only a print out of your ATM Card but no receipt. Well this is because the product the Lady sold to you does not belong to Slot but to her, but the very shameful thing they did was the way they addressed the Issue. Immediately the Lady should collect the charger from you to test on your phone and another phone but if there are still no changes she is ment to give you a refund or find a suitable charger of your taste.
At Yes Mobile we issue out receipts to customers excecpt if they don't not want it and which they can return before 7 working days(only for accessories)
Bro when ever you buy any thing always ask for your receipt because it does not matter if it works or not.

I bought an iPhone 6 charger from them for N5,000..Used the charger for like a week, not knowing it was killing my iPhone. A week later my phone went black and refused to come up again!

it's been 3 weeks since I gave an Engineer at SLOT and gave another at Yudala and they still couldn't fix it.!

Seems to me like infinix chargers develop fault quickly.
The fact that other chargers hardly charge the phone might be a turn off.

Write a complaint/petition to Standard Organization of Nigeria, Consumer Protection Council and other related regulatory agencies. Attach any available evidence to support your petition.

Ever since 2015 I noticed that Slot Limited in Ekiti State sells fake products.
And I've stopped going there.

They have poor customer services

At point of purchase you should've tested it for Flash charging... If it flash charges your phone then it ain't fake.
You should've also compared your old charger with the new one....

Slot is the most useless place to buy phone. This is what happened to my brother some years back. He bought a curve 4 from slot. When he got home, the phone started getting very hot. So hot that it could fry plantain. The next thing it went off. It came on later but it was still very hot. My brother went back the next day, they changed the phone for him but they put the old phone back into the pack. Arranged it very well for Another unlucky customer that would come and buy it! Since then my brother never went back to slot.

It's still fake, a new charger shouldn't come with a bad cord.

Apart from what u said, I think the op should try another charger and if it's still dsame then the charging port is faulty since he said it charge well the first time he tested it.

The phone in the market now use flex charging port which doesn't last long.

Those bastards sold me an Apple earpiece for 1k, used it just for 1 day on my Iphone5s and it got spoilt..

Am not suprised to hear this again from slot,2011 I bought a brand new torch blackberry in slot oke ilewo branch only to get home and a friend request came in and was telling me he was the original owner of the phone but sold it some weeks back cos he needed to pay school fees,I doubted him cos I felt I bought a new phone.this guy was in ilorin and he sent me the receipt he used to purchase it,I was shocked.had to accept my fate since he didn't complain it was stolen.

A lecturer of mine saw my recently purchase Tecno Droidpad and wanted to purchase exactly the same device. He went to slot & bought the device without my knowledge. Unfortunately for him, the tablet he bought had some kind of factory defect that made it undetectable by USB ports especially USB 2.0 ports.
We went back to slot together to lodge a complaint but we were not well attended to at all. Infact the presence of a man of international repute, over 65 years old did not give those ill-mannered girls at slot a molecule of sense. They were very rude. Ultimately, nothing reasonable was done & my lecturer is still 'managing' the tablet that way till date.

Slot, Muritala Mohammed way, Ilorin:
These ones sold a windows phone under the guise of Android to my Aunt fraudulently by installing a 3rd party application to give the phone an Android look. I later got to know the phone had Android support anyway. Again the sales representatives were very rude.

Slot, Osogbo:
I went there for an enquiry during National Youth Service a few years back. Just plain rude.


The management of slot needs to teach their employees how to relate with customers or they will lose a great chunk of them.
Personally, I don't think I'll ever buy anything from them anymore.

SLOT is a franchise that people pay for their business. Once you pay the franchise fee, its up to you to do as you like. SLOT is a name of an electronics company used to scam Nigerians.

Slot is useless. I bought one Nokia lumia 530 from them some years back and two months later it began giving me issues. I returned it to them and after two weeks they returned it to me with the same issues. I ended up dumping the phone and after hearing similar tales from others, I decided that was the first and last time I would patronize them.

They think its by using Dbanj to endorse them that their issues will be solved, rubbish.

Here's how it works. A company imports original accessories and sends them to their stores. Sharp minded workers buy fake accessories from outside and replace the original ones with the fake ones and then sell the original as "follow come" to 3rd parties. It's not like the workers sell their own personal stuff. They just replace.

If the account linked to the POS is not a personal but a company/corporate account then SLOT may actually be the one scamming and defrauding customers not the staff as it would be almost impossible for staff to get a share of the payment if directly paid to Slot's account via the POS terminal.

Let me tell yall the truth, the margins on accessories are humongous. SLOT is just riding the wave.
