Last year, AnTuTu Scores was release and which went across all platform and the iPhone 6s plus was dominating but this year the story has changed, Chinese brands are now taking over; Xiaomi top the chart this first quarter of 2016.

According to Antutu, the rank was given with the below criteria

>> Scores were gotten from AnTuTu Benchmark V6.0 app.
>> The average score of one device model, one chip model from 500 data samples.
>> Scores gotten from 1st, Jan ,2016 to 31st, March, 2016.

Here are the list of 10 most powerful smartphones in the world:

As you can see in the image above containing the top 10 smartphones, its interesting to know that the Xiaomi 5 took the number one spot with antutu score of 136875, followed closely by the Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge with a score of 134599. The iPhone 6S(Plus) took the third position.

A good phone is not all about raw power. It is the combination of build quality, design, features, battery life, sex appeal, camera, power and durability. So s7 edge it is for me.

I'd pick Xiaomi any day any time.. I can lie to my mum I bought it for #35,000..lol

this is well debatable as the AnTuTu benchmark cannot be used to measure some qualities of a phone.

that being said, the Xiaomi device up there isn't and can't be the most powerful smartphone in the world(except you prefer theory to practicals)

Like a poster up there @greenhulk rightly said, there's more to mobile phone than raw power. What op failed to let us know is that the benchmarks like antutu favours lower screen resolutions

The Xiaomi screen resolution is 1080p and iphones screen resolution is 750p while the galaxies has QHD screen resolution. So the earlier will surely be more favoured than the latter hence the iPhone been number 1 for sometime cos no high end phones debuts with 750p anymore.

Anyways they said in the world and not Nigerian market because most of all these malla fone wey dem dey call i never hear am before.

I will still pick my Blackberry Passport(Silver Edition) over any named fone above because BB passport na amazing machine.

Come to think of it, why Chinese fone nor go full everywhere, when the people plenty like sand and it has made production in their country easy.
