36 Boko Haram sect arrested on theirway to Southern Nigeria

No fewerthan 36 sus- pected members of the Islamic funda- mentalist group called ‘Boko Haram’which had unleashed terror in some parts of northern Nigeria have been arrested in the early hours of Friday by the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, Abuja.

The Federal Capital Territory Police Commissioner, John Haruna, who paraded the suspected militants, disclosed that they were arrested in Abuja at a motor park at about 1.00 am while on their way to the Southern parts of the country to launch attack, just the way their members did in Borno, Bauchi, Yobe, Kano states, among others recently.


CP Haruna said further that the Command has also uncovered plans by the sect to launch attack in some major government institutions and establishments in the FCT including the Presidential Villa and the National Assembly Complex, adding that the text messages sent by the group to some of their trained members in the FCT had been intercepted by the detectives in the Command.


The FCTpolice commis- sioner, however, revealed that on interrogation, the arrested Boko Haram sus- pects confessed that they were drafted from Kano, Jigawa, Yobe and two from Niger Republic and assem- bled in Kano where they took off with two buses with the inscription,“AfriBank bus”. “Upon interrogation, they all claimed they have no specific means of livelihood and that they were travelling to the South–Western states to search for menial jobs”. According to Mr. Haruna, “we cannot tell you all the secrets. The main thing is that we have arrested all those ones and if we tell the whole world our secrets, then it will be difficult to arrest them.


We have also gathered that they were spe- cially trained. “We have also heard that there are security threats from the group. We gathered that Abuja is the main target but that they have to start from somewhere to attract attention before launching their attacks on the FCT. Nevertheless, I want to assure that we on our part are ready and equal to the task. We have arrested some sus- pects and some of the sus- pects have fled some parts of the FCT.


I will not say more than that because of security reasons. “From all intelligent sources, they have been existing for a long time under various guises. It is not normal that anybody will leave any part of the country for another without any spare dress in two buses. They look healthy and well fed. Certainly, there is suspi- cion that they are members of this sect, either running away or moving to another place to reconverge and wreack mayhem”Haruna stated.

You know it is a crime to cause alarm and panic among the citizenry? Just informing.

Lies.

The truth is that the few remaining miscreants of Boko haram sect were running for safety down south to find menial jobs and were captured and alleged to be heading down south to cause mayhem. Fortunately or unfortunately, they will be shot to death within the next 24hrs to prevent any of them from leaking information on who their sponsors are.

Imagine a few of jihadists who were not safe in their area and with no real weapon other than cutlasses and dane guns coming down south to wage a war against western education? LIES.

CP Haruna John,is a bloody civil lier of the century. How did they identify these people as boko haramists,did they have any mark or identity cards with them. The Government are using the police to name any Northerner & Muslim who does roger them as boko haramists,just as they lied against many Niger delta youths by tagging them militants.

Until the rate of illiteracy is significantly reduced in Nigeria, I do not see any hope for that country. There are just too many Neanderthals passing as Homo sapiens in our Fatherland.

Yep, the well-known false logic of guilt-by-association will be used by hoodlums in uniform to extort or murder those who fit the above profile.

there is always a steady stream of young unemployed men from all over the north including niger and chad coming down south to look for menial job,i pray that they are safe, they will be branded boko haram and wasted by the incompetent security agents we have in this country, any malo, that cannot explain himself, God help him, of cause if this continue it will cause the much awaited revolution in the north, a much bigger boko haram will rise.
