Saraki's Coup Exposed! by haqueurate(m): 10:57am On Apr 14, 2016
President mohammed buhari is no stranger to coups, having himself participated in one which brought him in as a military head of state. He was also deposed through a military coup which ended nigerias arguably most disciplined government ever, arguments have been made concerning weather if his government had been allowed more time nigeria would have become better economically.
His return to nigerias apex seat was as a result of pubic nostalgia for a saner and less corrupt governance that had becom the other of the day, fast forward to today, the old man has indeed proved that a leopard cannot change its spots. He has not hiden his disdain for corruption making the fight against corruption a national anthem.
but corruption will always fight back and just like in 1985 corruption is about to carry out another coup (albeit a democratic one)
the senate has with recent stance shown that it is ready to remove or at least weaken the ability of the president to succed, first it has succeeded in manipulating the budget to assume the previous outlook (one that accomodate bogus and fraudulent constituency projects) removing or rejecting vital projects on flimsy excuses that they were not originally included in the budget submited (meanwhile the constituency projects were justifiably added by them) and it has declared categorically that the president will be forced to sign it
they have also concluded plans to break the power of the ccb in fighting corruption (so as to free saraki from accountability) and subsequently bribe the cct with 4billion unsolicited and unbudgeted fund inserted into the budget. All in a bid to take over the power of the presidency in takling corruption wich they represent (most of them were the same people in previous corrupt government). The previous system benefited them immensely, why will they want to change that?
They keyed into a popular slogan to get back power, now that the have the power only a coup will make sure they return things back to the way it was (which favoured them) and they have started the plot

This is not how a country should be governed
If the wings of buhari are not quickly trimmed we might have another Mobuto Seseko in our hands

A lot of NL peeps don't even know how Nigeria was in 1999 ... they just have access lately to "Tecnos" and they start telling us they know politics ... all politicians are dishonest including your god Buhari ... he will slit your throat if given the opportunity and you stand on the way ... matter of fact that is what he did in 2011 and planned a much more deadlier attack 2015 if not that the other clueless man became clueful for once ...

I was wondering about the performance of ministers under Buhari and found out that most ministers are working under fear ... they are scared of loosing their jobs if they argue about a policy against the President ... if this is the case, then our economy is very likely to remain the way it is since we may not have access experience decisions

>>> http://gossipha.com/2016/03/01/buhari-ministers-working-tensed-conditions/ <<<

The reports claim only 3 ministers have access to the President while others just see on TV like we do or at best when he precedes over meetings

The young man just told you the truth. You don't run govt by trust or personality, you use regulated bodies to run govt. Executive, legislature and judiciary are there for check and balances. No one has absolute power in democracy. This is not about supporting corruption but taming and preventing tyranny. If we give absolute power to executive, who comes to rescue when it abuses such power? or what happens when another tyrant assumes power?
Check and balances are elements of democracy, legislature will check executive, executive will check judiciary, they will balance themselves out.
Disagreement between arms of govt isn't alien, they should rather sit down and reason together than making mockery of themselves to the public.
