Hello i have a rooted tecno H7 which is infected with malware. Each time i connect to the internet, several apps and porn apps will start popping up and i wont have control of the phone anymore. I tried to erase the phone but the problems remains. I have tried several times but no success. The phone is now stucked at the tecno logo each time switch it on. It is not booting anymore. Kindly drop your suggestions on how to fix this. Thanks

my previous account has just been banned so here is my alternate monicker. I did not back up. I tried entering recovery mode and i did factory reset from and still its not booting pass the tecno logo. what can i do?

Follow these steps.


1. boot into recovery mode. Get a pen and write down the build number of the stock rom.

2. Download the stock rom of ur tecno H7 that have the exact build number

3. after downloading it. You will see the file as update.zip or update. Note: do not unzip it unless it is inside another folder name apart from the update.zip or update.

4. Now get a formatted SD card. Move the update.zip file into the SD card.

5. insert the SD card into your device. boot into recovery mode and select SD upgrade. Ur device will boot clean.

Jst download tecno h7 stock rom by searching online... Fixed a similar issue few weeks ago.. Then use spflash tool to flash again.. Btw were do you stay mayb I couldd send to you ?

@Op, just take the phone to a reputable phone engineer, or follow the procedure as detailed by @kick to the letter.

It is advisable to take it to their carl care first.

The issue will be sought out easily if u made a cwm back up of ur phone. If u didn't, there is still an alternative..
