not minding that same north has Nigeria's 80% of the over 250 ethnic groups yet they remain more united than south with only few ethnic groups like yoruba,igbo,ijaw,itsekiri,urhobo,edo/benin,efik,ibibio,ikwere,isoko to mention but few...whats the problem really?

That I a very big lie,no part of Nigeria is "united" as u said. That north u r talkin abt is much more divided,please look closely and u will see. EG kaduna state.

North do have a unified language while the reverse is the case in south. I think that's a factor. And the Northerners are so smart when it comes to politics, they are so smart when it comes divide and rule. South East, South West and South South never flow in one direction when it comes to politics. I'm sure it will be easier for Nigeria to divide if the South is one and the North understand this perfectly.
